Things Jerry Says #7 – I want to sit on an aeroplane!
This kid is seriously missing his daddy. For the days that the husband is gone, he has been constantly asking me “Where is papa?”. Like the first question when he wakes up and the last question before he closes his eyes for the day.. and maybe a gazillion times in between (ok, maybe not that much).
So over the weekend when i was done bathing him (which is why he is naked in the picture) and plonked him on the bed to dress him up… here’s what he said.
J: Mama, I want to sit aeroplane! (put both palms together and does zooming sounds and action from his right to left)
C: You want to sit on an aeroplane? Where do you want to go?
J: I want to sit aeroplane and go China! I want to go find papa!
C: Awwwwwwww…..
(I whipped out phone and take a picture of his zooming aeroplane. I had him repeat the action like twice but he was way too fast and i didnt manage to capture his ‘plane’…)
The photos ended up like like these…
C: Jerry, can you do the action again? Slowly so that i can take a picture of it.
J: *giggles* NOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo….
C: Why? Can you do it again? Please? Please?
J: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo…. I don’t want. (burst into fits of laughter)
And no amount of pleading or please helped. at. all. SIGH. I just have to make do with the above pictures and well, he sure has a mind of his own now. And well, he also didn’t know that i would rather be on a jet plane heading somewhere too!
