Fashionista Cherieladie #3

Hey hey! It’s my 3rd fashionista post and honestly, I have had a lot of fun taking pictures of my #ootds and dreaming up outfits. There are days where I totally feel like slacking, especially across stretches of weeks where I constantly am exhausted from work and being sleep deprived, but the mere thought of sharing those outfits with my readers here put some adrenaline in me!

This month, I am a little late with my post and didn’t make it to post on the 1st of the month. I was fire-fighting on my work till 1+ am earlier, and just had my fill of dinner/supper and finally have some time to myself to blog. I really missed my personal laptop quite a bit because I haven’t been doing much on this space. Enough of rant, here’s the outfits for the month of June! I have quite a few new tops that I never really bothered to pull them out from the corners of my wardrobe but I finally did!

This month’s styles are a little extreme, and totally different, but mostly driven by the occasions and the situations I need to be in.

All black ensemble with my favourite ASH sneakers. It was a tired day and I was lazy to coordinate.
Another black outfit day, but I needed something good enough for office and to go on Sentosa Luge after work!
A blue casual kind of day. I have been doing a lot of casuals cos I have been so tired from the long hours!
The day I attended the Philips Event during my lunch hour. Love this top a lot (from bkk)!

Lace dress bought during my recent Cebu trip. It got activated when I attending an event themed retro.

Last but not least, something that I wore to a friend's wedding!

If you noticed, I love exploring different type of textures on my clothes and I especially love it when there is a mix of 2 or more materials in the same piece of clothing.  In the 2nd outfit, the black top looks simple but I love the sleeves that adds a little dimension and make things interesting. I often look for statement pieces like that because it is all it takes to let you stand out. They are not expensive and in fact, I hardly buy anything expensive because I am too lazy to take good care of my clothes. I just take time in choosing clothes that I really love.

Do you like these outfits? DO TELL if you do because it would totally make my day (REALLY!) and probably inspire me to be a lot more hardworking than what I am now. If its your first time here, do read the earlier fashion posts and leave me a comment! Thank you for reading and I am going off to bed now!

Hi there! Thanks for popping by. I'm Cherie, a ftwm (full-time working mum) to 3 lovely kids (2 boys & a princess) and my motto in life is to BE HAPPY. Sure, life isn't all that smooth but it's the mentality that counts, no? This blog documents my life. Or rather, snippets of my life that has passed me by. I love capturing life memories in the blog and being able to read back and laugh at myself (or anyone). I love to eat (A LOT), travel and paint my own nails so the blog is mostly about that. Is that considered lifestyle? Of cos, the family is also very much an integral part of me so there would be loads of memories about the husband and my kids - Jerry (9yo), Jerome (7yo) and Leia (2.5yo) and everyone else that's close to me. I like documenting the kids' milestones, their growing up years, their achievements (and sometimes, mine), and my struggles and battles with motherhood. It sure ain't easy. I love seeking out good food and travelling, is trigger-happy, love new gadgets, love exploring new places and strives to live life to the fullest. I aspire to travel the world as much as I can, to soak in the different sights across the various continents and visit all the Disneylands in the world (almost there!). Have fun reading and do drop me a comment to say hi! Love, Cherie Lim Find me on Instagram.
