Daily outfits.

Dressing up for work has been a challenge, because I am pretty much restricted by the need to pop into the moo moo room (read nursing room). Most of my favorite dresses have to be retired for the moment because it’s such a chore to wear a one-piece because they are just not convenient. Only certain pieces are wearable and works for me – mostly those v- necks dresses where I do not have to remove the entire dress to do the deed. Other times, I try to wear a 2pc (top and bottom) but it’s challenging for me because I can’t quite fit into all my old blouses anymore. They are a tad too tight!

Anyhowdie, here’s some of my outfits for work.

Polka dot dress from loef and belt came from a dress from Forever21

F21 white top with gap spaghetti inside, black harem jersey pants from loef, chunky necklace from H&M (bought in Europe) and guess wedges.

This was one of those I don’t know what to wear and can’t be bothered days. Cotton on polka dot top, f21 pencil skirt and suede peep toes from nine west. Look kinda like the typical OL (office lady) here.

Abercrombie & fitch striped tank, asos maternitydemin skirt (yes, I’m still wearing them), giraffe necklace from F21 and supposedly, my pink nine west sandals but I forgot to change out (my havaianas are my office slippers).

Some times, I’ve got company in the moo moo room!

Black blouse (I can’t remember from where but I think it’s one of those random shops in toa payoh/Chinatown) and gap jeans. Forgot to change out my shoes again but I paired the outfit with my brown bottega heels.

One of those rare one-piece dresses that I could wear. White dress from m)phosis and blue leather peep toes from nine west.

Esprit polka dot tank top, heritage 81 flowery skirt, nine west fuchsia sandals.

Frilly sleeveless blouse from osmose and a random brand-less skirt. I deliberately left out my feet because I was wearing my office havaianas again.

f21 wavy striped tank, m)phosis necklace, gap skinny jeans, nine west gladiators and my funky g-shock watch on a Friday.

Topshop top with frilly sleeves, Black tulle skirt and dark denim tights from f21. Red peeps toes from nine west.

Pink gap tank top and gap skinny jeans (am repeating this quite a bit because I was too lazy to dig out my old jeans!), with an Abercrombie cardi, nine west gladiators and a glass ring from the streets in Venice.

This was one of those black days where I was dressed in black from head to toe and can’t really quite tell what I was wearing from the photo. I wore my gap maternity top as a tunic, paired it with 3/4 black tights, my black gladiators and a f21 belt that came with one of the dresses. I added a tinge of bronze color with the H&M necklace I got in Milan. I kinda regretted after I stepped out because I spent the rest of the day feeling conscious about my body as everything was so skin tight!

Gap maternity tank (I got 3 pcs of it) tucked into a teal chiffon skirt from f21, some Korean necklace off the streets of hk and a pair of big bow peep toes flats from nine west. Yes, I love nine west shoes..

Another one of those self conscious days because i felt that I was bursting out of my top. I think it was from osmose.. From a long time ago, with g2000 shorts/belt and super high (5″) and rugged looking heels from Charles and Keith. This pair is a little rocker chic and one of my favorite but I haven’t worn it since I got preggers. White acrylic ring from Marc Jacobs.

And there, 3 weeks worth of my daily outfits. I think this post is getting very long. More in a separate post when I have the time.

Now, excuse me while I attend a work event. Hope your Sunday is turning out great!

Hi there! Thanks for popping by. I'm Cherie, a ftwm (full-time working mum) to 3 lovely kids (2 boys & a princess) and my motto in life is to BE HAPPY. Sure, life isn't all that smooth but it's the mentality that counts, no? This blog documents my life. Or rather, snippets of my life that has passed me by. I love capturing life memories in the blog and being able to read back and laugh at myself (or anyone). I love to eat (A LOT), travel and paint my own nails so the blog is mostly about that. Is that considered lifestyle? Of cos, the family is also very much an integral part of me so there would be loads of memories about the husband and my kids - Jerry (9yo), Jerome (7yo) and Leia (2.5yo) and everyone else that's close to me. I like documenting the kids' milestones, their growing up years, their achievements (and sometimes, mine), and my struggles and battles with motherhood. It sure ain't easy. I love seeking out good food and travelling, is trigger-happy, love new gadgets, love exploring new places and strives to live life to the fullest. I aspire to travel the world as much as I can, to soak in the different sights across the various continents and visit all the Disneylands in the world (almost there!). Have fun reading and do drop me a comment to say hi! Love, Cherie Lim Find me on Instagram.
