Just for laughs and in the name of fun.

Seriously, one of the main grouses that most pregnant women have is uninvited hands to the tummy.. Especially those from strangers. Funny how people think it’s perfectly fine to plant their hands on the tummy as they wish.. Seriously, it’s quite a violation of bodily parts and I see it as a sexual harassment of some sort.

I mean, you don’t go around touching people’s tummy on normal days so I don’t see why the rule doesn’t apply just when the tummy is protruding! I wouldn’t have mind it if one has the courtesy to ask for permission before touching but I have people just stretching out and rubbing my tummy when I’m not looking! I dont know if you can try to imagine the shock cum realization that someone else is touching you.. Even from people that I’m not close too – like the manicurist that did my nails the other day.. She stretched out her hands and touch my tummy while I walked past her (and she was doing pedicure for someone else – screams!!).

So, imagine the situation when it’s coupled with CNY visiting… Errrmm.. I got ‘molested’ many times over!

Inspired by vanstals, I took this picture for fun! Thought it’s really quite funny.. And mainly for my own amusement.

Meanwhile, lilsnooze taught me another secret weapon to fend of the ‘tummy touchers’.. I have yet had the chance to try it out.. Shall try it out on the next person that touches my tummy! hee hee. *evil grins*

Hi there! Thanks for popping by. I'm Cherie, a ftwm (full-time working mum) to 3 lovely kids (2 boys & a princess) and my motto in life is to BE HAPPY. Sure, life isn't all that smooth but it's the mentality that counts, no? This blog documents my life. Or rather, snippets of my life that has passed me by. I love capturing life memories in the blog and being able to read back and laugh at myself (or anyone). I love to eat (A LOT), travel and paint my own nails so the blog is mostly about that. Is that considered lifestyle? Of cos, the family is also very much an integral part of me so there would be loads of memories about the husband and my kids - Jerry (9yo), Jerome (7yo) and Leia (2.5yo) and everyone else that's close to me. I like documenting the kids' milestones, their growing up years, their achievements (and sometimes, mine), and my struggles and battles with motherhood. It sure ain't easy. I love seeking out good food and travelling, is trigger-happy, love new gadgets, love exploring new places and strives to live life to the fullest. I aspire to travel the world as much as I can, to soak in the different sights across the various continents and visit all the Disneylands in the world (almost there!). Have fun reading and do drop me a comment to say hi! Love, Cherie Lim Find me on Instagram.
