question
which would you choose?
ibook G4 vs toshiba satalite notebook (running on vista)
specs, size and costs aside, which would be more desirable? that is, taking into consideration that i already have a powerful desktop in my room?
been toying with the idea of the macbook, but i’m worried about compatibility issues, especially since if i want to sync my gadgets, i.e. ipod. other issues, the macbook’s 2nd hand but it’s looks totally brand new.. and the toshiba’s brand new in box.
what do i want it for? portability, some times to do work with. travel with. mostly, it’s for pleasure. my bro uses a macbook tho and he is going to buy a macbook pro soon.
i only have 1 more day to decide before my uncle flies back with the other that i do not want. i need advices.

I love seeking out good food and travelling, is trigger-happy, love new gadgets, love exploring new places and strives to live life to the fullest. I aspire to travel the world as much as I can, to soak in the different sights across the various continents and visit all the Disneylands in the world (almost there!). Macs are much better, fun to use and have nicer displays. And less problems. PC are full of viruses, and Vista is still not solid yet. It has plenty of problems…
I have one of each, because I need them for web design (and video games 🙂 but I use XP, not Vista.

totally agree with u on the mac and the pc viruses.. but i use the pc at work and home and the toshiba seemed to a better choice for compatibility issues! 🙂

yeah. my uncles and brother swear by the mac! used to use one from a kid till i was 17 where the schools all use the Pcs.. and so does majority of the organizations where i am..
so i guess pc’s the way.. anyway, my bro got a mac so i could use it anytime i want.. 🙂

Do you do web design or Photoshop or anything? Those are best on the Mac. Have you ever tried “painting” with the tablet??

i use the photoshop.. but only for simple stuff.. 🙂 and no.. never painted with the tablet.
