the wounds

u know how old people is always say no seafood or soy sauce or anything dark when u have a wound?

i wonder how true that is. western doctors always advise that you can eat almost anything. totally contradiction

my wounds are healing quite well, but 2 of them are healing slower and is much darker than the other. i hope it’s my imagination. i haven’t been exactly a good girl and gobbled down lotsa seafood and stuff that my mum says i shouldnt be eating. each day, i put baby oil on the wounds so that they’ll heal better, and only recently (after i started eating the seafood), i noticed there is a change in the color.

can someone with medicinal background tell me why this is happening? am i supposed to stop eating seafood?

=(

Hi there! Thanks for popping by. I'm Cherie, a ftwm (full-time working mum) to 3 lovely kids (2 boys & a princess) and my motto in life is to BE HAPPY. Sure, life isn't all that smooth but it's the mentality that counts, no? This blog documents my life. Or rather, snippets of my life that has passed me by. I love capturing life memories in the blog and being able to read back and laugh at myself (or anyone). I love to eat (A LOT), travel and paint my own nails so the blog is mostly about that. Is that considered lifestyle? Of cos, the family is also very much an integral part of me so there would be loads of memories about the husband and my kids - Jerry (9yo), Jerome (7yo) and Leia (2.5yo) and everyone else that's close to me. I like documenting the kids' milestones, their growing up years, their achievements (and sometimes, mine), and my struggles and battles with motherhood. It sure ain't easy. I love seeking out good food and travelling, is trigger-happy, love new gadgets, love exploring new places and strives to live life to the fullest. I aspire to travel the world as much as I can, to soak in the different sights across the various continents and visit all the Disneylands in the world (almost there!). Have fun reading and do drop me a comment to say hi! Love, Cherie Lim Find me on Instagram.

it’s to do with the ‘toxins’ (some chemical) in seafood…

When I just had the operation on the thigh… I took seafood though my wound was fresh. Itched like MAD posthaste.. and the scar color didn’t fade. 🙁

    SEAFOOD FOR HEALING WOUNDS

    Dear Cherie

Its is untrue that seafood are “poisonous” for healing wounds… Actually, seafood contains lots of proteins and stuffs that are good for the body…

As for soy sauce… question is how much u need to drink or eat for that healing wound to turn black in colour? If u understand how our digestive system work, you will understand what i am trying to say. In another words… then indians who have healing wounds cannot drink milk then…

    regards
