Weekend fun.
Last weekend saw us spending quite a bit of time at the hospital.. Oh. On the health front, I finally got der to check out his neck with an orthopedic. Helps that I was familiar with it since I tore my ligament some 6 years back and I set an appointment for him. He saw the doc once 2 weeks ago, got a MRI scan done and last weekend, we reviewed the scan with the doc. Planned it in conjunction with all our antenatal class so it was perfect. The scan results did show that he had a slightly worn out disc in his neck that’s probably causing the pain…

My bro’s the best!
Weirdly, I have been lemming for durians a lot more frequent with the pregnancy. I have no clue why! Well, my mum says that if I do have a craving, I should get it satisfied so that the baby won’t salivate when he/she grows older. Yup, it’s a old wives tales but I don’t mind listening to it since I get to eat what I wanna eat! So, the bro knowing that I have been craving for it constantly, brought me some over the weekend (after my swim on Sunday). He actually went out specifically to get me the durians because his sister me is totally clueless about choosing durians..…

Happy lunch with Agnes!
To chase the monday blues away.. I had a great albeit expensive lunch! It was happy lunch with Agnes! Late night snack for the baby
As if the 4am insomnia for the last 2 months isn’t a good enough torture, I gave been waiting up feeling really hungry these days. Feels like I’m back in my first trimester when I had to munch biscuits in the dark (for fear of waking hubby)! So these couple of days, I have been surviving on this! Koko krunch! I’m on my 2nd box in just a couple of days.. Good thing that the fridge is well stocked of milk by the hubby! Now that my baby is satisfied, I can go back to sleep! Of happy lunches and meals.
I just puked again a while ago.. Looks like i am not getting any better despite resting the entire day.. I want to get out of this sickie feeling soon! It sure sucks to keep wanting to vomit. Day 3 in Bali.. Our Bali vacation –
It’s my 2nd attempt drafting this and I do hope my phone app doesn’t have any error and eat up my Bali vacation entry like the last time! We had out for lunch in the late afternoon after a short swim. That typically has been our routine for the days spent in Bali.. I was craving for some local food and the cafe (Brasserie & Lounge) that we had lunch the day before do serve them so we headed back there! My caramel mikshake and the standard cola for der. Was in the katong area for lunch with my colleagues the other day for nonya food.. it was free lunch because we betted for world cup and I was one of them winners! Go Spain go! I know, it’s been yonks but with all the flurry of activities at work.. Colorful jellies to mark the day.
Heart these japanese jellies. They fill my days with bright colours. They happened to be one of my favourite foods too! All thanks to my boss any my team, for helping to celebrate and tricking me into the room for some meeting (same old trick as last year) and no, i wasnt dumb to fall for the same trick twice. Loving my Friday!
Yesterday was a lovely day, work aside, I was quite chirpy the whole day! I think it was because the weekend was near… Me on the escalator at the train station, heading to work. Loving my bottega heels! Passing through the gravel land, feeling every inch of pain as the bottega battle with the stones. Finally in the lift! I cannot decide if the iPhone is a good thing because I have taken to taking a lot of pictures on the iPhone and I am quite lazy to blog from the iPhone because my typing ain’t as fast compared to a keyboard, plus the fact that I get a lot of typos and the phone changing my original word to another that it thinks is right.
