it a noisy saturday afternoon. the boys at the basketball court beneath my block are making a lot of noise. the sun is up and i wonder if the increased noise level is welcoming. derrick called earlier, found out that im lazing in bed and said i had no life. dinner.
met up with junwei and derrick last nite after work. even though i was dead tired, their jokes made me laugh until my sides hurt. the best part was when junwei was telling me this highly fictitious story about how he fought someone for his friend and got slashed with a knife that resulted in a huge scar on his hand (with power actions and facial expressions!!). i graciously allowed him to finish the story while struggling to keep my giggles away. he didnt remember the night before he told me it was due to a fall. *giggles* that is ONE funny guy. snapped some pics while we were bored..…

being home
staying home the whole day is good. it means getting a lot of rest (especially critical for my sick bod and persistent cough) and having the time to sort out photos! so, here’s some pictures taken toward the end of december.. the day we went shopping for my lost oakleys. my team had a christmas party at a chalet and we have invited our close working partners to share our joy and alcohol!! incidentally, it was also the day i fell terribly sick.. while sorting the photos.. and cleaning up my hard disk.. i chanced upon the many many photos that i took together with him. it feels sorta weird,…

the hair cut
here’s some picture of the pocket-ripping haircut that i did. ok. it’s not the haircut that killed my bank account. it was the treatment that i did. i agreed with the treatment solely cos i didnt think it would be that expensive. since i always get my hair rebonded and cut there at very reasonable prices, it didnt occur to me to ask for the price of the treatment. besides, i know both the owners of the salon and almost all the staff there personally due to some link. yihui is extremely pleased with her haircut and she’s a delighted girl hopping ard. as for me, the pain of parting…

havent been snapping away often these days. nothing interesting in my life actually. just the normal routine of work and home. meinu_yihui flew kite on me today, so the dinner date is off and i headed home in the rain at 5.45pm. there’s loads of work, but cos i am really tired and wanted to rest, i decided to head home early. here’s my desk a couple of days back, after i’ve set up the new computer and got all the wires/cables hidden. the new dell com at work is cranky, cos it gives out weird noises (and loud!) at times. i think something is wrong with the fan. 🙁…

puffy eyes
it feels like monday today. i changed my alarm clock last night, in a bid to wake earlier to beat the punch card machine. i got out of the house earlier than usual and missed the bus that i was supposed to catch! and i was 4 mins late. my time stamp was in red while the rest of my colleagues are in black. sigh. how demoralising. the public holiday was spent lazing. helped wei cleaned his car yesterday, yeah! at least i dont despise it that much now. i feel so distant after not posting any entry in the last 2 days. wei’s computer is down and i couldnt…

i am suffering from a migraine on the right side of my head for at least the last 6 hours. it feels like my head’s gonna snap apart.
