Fashionista Cherieladie #4

Another month has passed and a new Fashionista Cherieladie post is here! July have been a totally busy month for me and I’m up in my neck with work and clocking in as much sleep as I could. I was just so tired everyday, I hope august would be better. Even though my brain tells me I’m dreaming, I am still hoping that things would ease up a little and I could cope better.

So, August is here and I haven’t forgotten about the fashionista post despite all the hectic schedules and here goes!

“You look like a ballerina!”, says my colleague. I put together a somewhat casual outfit as office wear.

A lazy kinda of day where I wore a dress and just paired it with a loud necklace.

Everyone loved the outfit I put together last month when I attended a wedding, so here’s another simple, understated outfit that’s similar yet, totally different. Yeah. #samesamebutdifferent

Which brings me to a point that another colleague pointed out the other day to me. She said, “Everytime I see you, you are wearing something different!” It is not true! I do repeat my outfits often, but never in the same combination. If you look closely enough, some outfits are being repeated across the different fashionista posts that I have, but in a different pairing altogether. I guess that’s how I make my outfits work harder.

Here’s another tip, I usually match my shoes with my outfit and it instantly boost up the outfit by a fair bit. And, if you are sharp enough, I have been using the same bag the entire month! That’s how busy I was, no time to even switch out the bag at all. But thankfully, the balenciaga somewhat goes with everything!

This is also the month of #selfies because really no luxury of time to find nice backdrops and take pictures of myself. I also snapped a whole lot more #ootds but didn’t manage to post them on my instagram, so I guess I’ll share them in the upcoming posts!

I hope August would be a blast for you. It’s my birthday month and I am hoping to be lucky to be able to enjoy it a bit and there is a public holiday to look forward to!
