Outfit of the day (ootd).
Honestly, my outfit of the day (ootd) isn’t much today. it’s not even anywhere fashionable. it’s just a plain dress (although its a sentimental one), but i wanted to document it still. because i was on the train today and SOMEONE OFFERED ME A RESERVED SEAT! #truestory I spent the entire train journey home wondering if i looked horrible or terribly preggers or something. By the way, if you are wondering.. i’m not. I’m still thinking about donning my bikinis in the upcoming BKK trip. So, errrmm. do i look fat or something? If you think i am, do tell me so! At least it can be a source of…

Conversations with the husband #8
Happy Chinese New Year everyone. I’m back with a quick “Conversations with the husband” post while I try and recover from the post CNY fatigue. It’s been a few days of madness and sleep deprivation and I wished I had taken leave to recover from all these. Definitely don’t feel as young anymore! Will try posting from frequently this week! Conversations with the husband #8 We had an extremely exhausting evening a couple of days ago (pre cny) while managing 2 kids and staying hungry till midnight. It was one of those days that left me fuming for hours and kept questioning myself why the hell I had kids. Believe…

All set for CNY with FOX Kids and Baby!
*Sponsored post with Fox Kids and Baby* Honestly, the CNY mood has yet to descend on me yet. Did somebody say Chinese New Year is just 5 DAYS away? There are so much chores to be done in the household still and i think we wont feel much of a festive mood since the husband is the kind that wouldn’t want any CNY decor in the house. We are pretty much busy bees this weekend trying to cram in last minute stuff – hair cuts, change of bedsheets, packing up the messy bits of the house, and getting ready the red packets for the new year. But there is one thing…

My little Jerome turns ONE! Happy 1st Birthday!
Exactly a year ago on this very day, i had the most bizarre gynae appointment ever, which landed me in the hospital for child delivery WITHOUT the husband by my side. Unthinkable right? and fast forward today, my little chubby baby koala turns ONE! Has it really been *ONE* year already? It went by in a whizz and i can’t say i remember much of it. Having 2 kids really takes up a lot more of your time, and i have been slacking on his development milestones. Each month, i meant to write, and ended up postponing the post, or having a half written post in my draft folder and…

Cookies baking class at TOTT for Zachary’s 4th Birthday.
Jerry spent Christmas at a cookies baking class at TOTT! I almost forgot to jot this down but happen to chance upon some pictures on my flickr sets. We attended a really cool birthday party for Zachary 4th birthday. It was a cookie baking class and jerry’s first attempt at baking! We were slightly late and when we got there, everyone has started!! Each kid was given a tray, a lump of cookie dough, some chocolate chips, a paper hat and there were cookie cutters on the table for every one to share. Each table has about 6 kids on the table and there was sufficient space for everyone to…

Gumigem Teething Necklace Review (Miller Heart Bubblegum) & GIVEAWAY
I love accessorizing, especially necklaces. some of you might remember that i posted a collection of my necklaces on instagram some time back. and yup, necklaces are a HUGE part of me… and then, there are the occasional bracelets and rings that i wear. When motherhood descended on me when i first had Jerry, i stopped wearing necklaces for more than a year. I couldn’t stand the thought of the baby putting the costume jewellery into his mouth because i don’t even know if the materials were safe! A lot of my pieces are metal stuff and i am often freaked out when the baby mouthes them. And then, there…

My bucket list – Living life to the fullest!
Bucket list. As 2014 rolls along, i don’t intend to set any new resolutions for the year. I think my resolution is always the same, year on year – living life happy and to the fullest. What it really means to me is, being out there enjoying whatever that I am doing, trying new things, doing the things that I love, being with the people I love, and simply, loving everything that’s in my life. There are so many more things that I want to do/achieve in life, and I think i’m almost halfway through the journey, which is why I am going to try creating a bucket list instead.…

Things Jerry says #3 – the little traffic conductor
Things Jerry says – the little traffic conductor We have been teaching the kid about traffic lights since a long time ago.. when he was still in the stroller and I used to push him around everywhere. I believe in empowering him with the knowledge from young so he doesn’t run across traffic lights and know the basic traffic rules, right from the moment he understands me. I’m paranoid that way. Part of the reason is that i used to have a really really smart classmate in primary school and one day, he didn’t check for the cars while crossing and got hit. He was in coma for months and…

Things Jerry say #2 – Caring for the ‘birdie’
Things Jerry says #2 I was applying moisturising lotion for the kid post bath where the following conversation happened. J: mummy, I want to apply lotion on my birdie!!! Me: huh?! Birdie? J: YES! BIRDIE!! Me: oh. You mean BODY? It’s “bor-di”! Not birdie!!
