after our morning excitement checking out the sydney’s tower eye on day 3 of our trip, we did some light shopping and had lunch. we had full intention of checking off a lot more items on our “to-do” list but the day turned out to be a lot more chilled than we planned it to be. chicken avocado spuds from spuds and crepes for lunch at westfields sydney, which is basically potatoes. shopping for jellybeans as gifts for colleagues. this is such a happy place! there are soooooooo many different jellybean flavors that i couldn’t buy it all despite lugging a lot! happy birthday to me.
some weeks back, I turned another year older. uneventfully. I think birthdays get a whole lot more toned down as I age. I spent the day on a quick date with the husb, out watching hossan leong’s stand up comedy and had loads of laughter for company. had a quick dinner before we zipped home for the kids. thank you all who sent well wishes and greetings my way through fb, text messages, whatsapp, IG and all other social platforms, thank you very much. today, everyone in Singapore celebrates the nation’s birthday. I really love Singapore and how we grow and prosper year on year. I don’t think I would ever find another better country to stay in. sure, I love travelling and have been to quite a number of countries but nowhere beats home.
