i wish i could be there..
i think my worst fears came true. my boy is in tts now, on drips. he went to see the doc again this morning and the next thing i know, he is in the hospital. latest updates from the mum – he has to be on drips for 2 hours, and the doctor is monitoring if he is still has diarrhea. if he is fine, he can go home.. if not, he needs to be admitted. am keeping my fingers crossed now. i hope he gets well.

my poor boy is sick.. Been having runs non stop since yesterday afternoon. Pains to see him feverish and weak, and all I could do was to make him a cup of warm ribena. =( He’s heading for the doc again.. my $1k weekend

wow… it’s friday already!
the week literally FLEW by.. and wow, tomorrow it’s friday already! i spent the week recuperating and busy trying to familiarize myself with my nds lite and the many games that der downloaded for me.. >5gb worth! played less than 10 games thus far because of the lack of time, with me battling fatigue and all. last weekend was a great one. weather for last saturday was good, and i brought der to bishan park for some quiet brunch amongst the greens. we had a quiet meal, and enjoyed ourselves tremendously, slowly enjoying our food, not rushing anyway and just enjoying life.. i miss having days like that.. life has…

my new toy!
i got myself a new toy on saturday! der bought me the metallic rose pink nds lite as a pre-christmas gift. hahah. christmas doesn’t seemed to be anywhere near! but i have been stinging on myself and not willing to fork out the money (as compared to fishing out my card to pay for his polo ralph tees and other expensive stuff!), so he decided that he would buy it for me. to accompany me when i embark on the new job and the longer travelling journey (kill me please!). but, he seems more interested in the nds lite than me! very pro-actively helping me to download all the games…

mid autumn celebrations

Peeling hands
My hands are suffering from my wash toilet stint 2 days ago. I was too engrossed in cleaning the toilet (madly!) and over did on the detergent. Didn’t even realised it until i had “detergent burns” (is that what you called it?) and my brother stomping out from his room screaming at me for infusing the house with the smells of the strong detergent. The only good thing that came out of it was derrick coming home and exclaiming,”wah! Your toilet is like hotel’s!” [mobile post @ tpy]

taipei, day 5 aka last day
am a little thankful for the 2 days MC, because it allows me to take things slow, not stress myself over work (even though i replied a few emails), and simply rest and rest. 🙂 day 5, also our last day in taipei, i DRAGGED der to the zoo! yes. you heard me right, i went to the zoo. and knowing that i am not a fast food fan, day 5 was also a day filled with fast food. taiwan, day 4 (part 2)
before popping over to 淡水渔人码头, we passed by this surf beach where a lot of beach boys and girls were surfing. it was far from the scene that you see in singapore. and you know, me being ME, i wanted to take peektures!! wahhaha. so cheng chieh stopped the car by the side of the road and we popped out for some quick photo-taking! 😛 our reflection in the car window, you can see a faint outline of cheng chieh in the car if u look closely. 🙂 and der looked surprisingly fat in this picture! haha. some interesting sculptures that we saw further down the journey.. when we finally…
