a big thank you to all that remembered my birthday and really appreciated the fact that so many people wished me happy birthday (thru sms, msn, lj, facebook, emails etc..)! ok. other than the fact that my phone started beeping non stop from 8am in the morning and WOKE ME UP!! and then, it continued beeping at 10-15mins intervals the entire day.. so much so that i had to silent it in the afternoon to grab a nap. der was amused cos he commented that my phone is VERY BUSY. seriously, im surprised that a lot of people remembered my birthday.. and a lot of people whom i hardly talk…

just some pics of us gearing up.. ok. i looked the least glam. you know what that tells you? the “photographer” aint good! took such an unglam picture of me while i took so nice pictures of the other 2. hahha. i shall not reveal who that is. 😛 didn’t really shoot any pictures while we were on the wheels because i had nothing in my pocket. it was kinda fun since it’s been a really long time since i last bladed. passing through the cable ski “pond”, it also reminded me of the days where i frequently went wake boarding. hmmm.. i miss those days. life these days ain’t…

very satisfied
although i have yet to discover the full potential of the nikon d80.. i am very happy with the buy, because every picture looked like it’s postcard quality! here’s one picture of the chiang kai-shek memorial hall in taiwan! no editing done. pretty right?! and here’s another 5 pictures, made into a collage of der jumping over the “entrance gate”. and when i say i had clicking fun, i really had a lot of fun taking pictures like that. gonna finish up the vietnam trip first before i blog about taiwan! and hk!

dinner at tam po po in june
i was supposed to be blogging about this.. but like the usual excuse – lack of time, i think it slipped my mind till i was looking for some pictures earlier. more than a month ago, i insisted that der must rush back and have dinner with me. never mind that i had to wait more than 2 hours for him to finish his work and rush back from skudai (imagine the long journey, customs etc that he had to brave).. and i while the time away stoning at macs, staring at the books in kino and roaming aimlessly around liang court. also because jen was too swamped at work…

why isnt this a lazy afternoon?

a smile on my face
i got a new toy on my desk!! all thanks to jen.. she bought it for me when we were shopping at vivo the other day. or rather, i extorted it from her!! *giggles* it’s a seal in a strawberry suit! ok. it was so cute that i had to leave the shop with it!! so she very nicely bought it for me. when der saw it while we were on the way home from vivo..he gave it a name. antsy morning
it took me 1 hour to calm down, and feel normal again, while going about eating my breakfast, chewing on a red apple and blog reading. i think the blog reading did the trick. had an antsy morning from everything that happened, der’s driving, the mad rush, the tempers flying and the bad morning traffic, on top of that is a super grumpy boy pissed with the traffic and worrying about missing his flight. and i thought i had been really sweet to climb out of my covers before 6.30am to send him to the airport. but things usually are not what they seemed. anyway, i feel much better now..…
