• Tonight’s dinner.

Simple and yummy. I had craving for Maggie curry chicken noodles, so I cooked for the boy and me! With sunny side egg for him and scrambled eggs for myself, paired with loads and loads of vegetables and eryngii bunch mushrooms. Wash all that down with 2 cans of iced cola.. (so not me!) Bliss! Would have been really perfect if I didn’t accidentally burn the boy’s egg. I ran to my room to SMS him that his noodles are ready and have him quickly pop over and in that split second, the egg was slightly burnt cos my fire was too big. =( Nonetheless, the boy enjoyed the meal!…

  • thoughts on the pregnancy journey..

i am staring at the screen for like the looooongest time, and i have no clue how to pen down the thoughts i had in my head. i feel like a bad mother-to-be today. i went to see the gynae today and its seems that jerry is a little too small than he is supposed to be at week 37. the gynae sounded a little concerned, but he was telling me that it may be a good thing because it means it’s easier to give birth since its a smaller baby. i’m not sure if he was just trying to encourage me and assuring me that everything will be fine.…

  • Sending happiness along someone’s way!

Don’t you love it when you do a small act and attain happiness when you send happiness in someone’s way? Sent out a bouquet of flowers last week to cheer kristy up on her birthday! It was drama to send these flowers because I have NO CLUE what her address was, so I based it on guesswork and had the florist call up to double confirm before the delivery. Of cos, the address was so wrong (one street away) but the flowers got to her still, and made her a very happy girl! She told der – if I didn’t receive any flowers today, I can’t sleep and would go…

  • random thoughts. and also about the boy.

uh no. you know.. the whole bit of the pregnancy process is a very very steep learning curve. there’s just so much to learn/read about pregnancy, the birthing process, nutrition, baby care, baby needs and so much so much more. i realised that i am learning new things daily and there is just so much more out there. google is like my pregnancy dictionary right from the start, even the various clinics and gynaes choices out there freak you out. day in day out, i try to cramp in as much additional information i can into my brain about the whole pregnancy process.. there are other stuff like training your…

  • A date with the husband.

Since a few weeks back, I have dedicated friday nights to having a date with the husband. It was triggered by the fact that mum went for surgery and there wasn’t the usual home cooked and we had to eat out. It turned out to be a great idea (even though we end up eating really late on Fridays) because we managed to clock some couple time over a good meal or sometimes, a simple and happy meal. There wasnt the usual distraction of tv at home or other things snatching your attention (read: iPad/computers) so there were some quality conversations happening. With the baby coming soon, we’ll have less…

  • Choo Choo..

Baby shopping. We are at it every other weekend.. Striking off an item or two each time.. Or loading up frivolous stuff randomly. Last weekend, we thronged the taka baby fair but it was too crowded and too hazardous with everyone squeezing all over, knocking into things and people, people pushing their way through and the cramp aisles.. I promptly left in less than 15mins. I rather pay more than go through the torture! Besides, I think they should have wider aisles for people to walk because everyone I see in there is either spotting a big tummy, baby stroller in hand inching their way around or having a baby…

  • HI!

now, i wish i could write a proper entry but my thoughts so far has been a mish mash of random thoughts and happenings and spur of the moment entries. so after 20 days in 6 cities, 3 flights, 5 train rides, 8 different hotels (was supposed to be 6) and many many taxi rides later, we are back in singapore and being smacked with the madness of living a new lifestyle, loads of adapting (and moving things), clearing up the paperwork and debts from the wedding, and dealing with the post-wedding issues (we still have yet to pay the photographer and wine supplier) and with the honeymoon gone askew,…
