• It’s jeans! No, it’s a diaper!

On my recent trip to the US, I bought so much stuff for the baby, it’s quite unimaginable. Enough to burst my credit limit on my card on top of my own buys (which isn’t a lot). I haven’t gotten round to blogging about it (soon! soon! I know I say this too often) but here’s something that I bought and thought it to be really cute. Not talking about the baby food but the huggies little movers diapers! It’s not available here for now, and it’s says limited edition in the box. It’s a printed-jeans diaper from huggies. I’m a mummy poko fan, but this was tooo cute to…

  • A kiss, anyone?

My sleeping beauty bunny. I could lie beside and stare for hours in amazement. Meanwhile, I think he sorta grasps the idea of crawling on fours and using his legs interchangeably to propel himself forward. Uh no. My kid is turning rather mobile. He moved from one end of the cot to the other twice last night (after I pulled him back in the middle of the night). I am beginning to give myself heart attacks jumping out of bed in the night and checking on him when he turns too silent. TGIF! are you ready for the weekend? Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

  • Self amusement.

Jerry certainty can self-amuse these days and play for extended period of time by himself. Mighty pleased that my purchase of Lion in the Park activity gym by bright stars that I bought in the states is being put to good use (gotta thank my aunt for lugging it back for me!!). But then again, I hung his Lamaze Sir Prance-a-lot on it and he jabs happily at it and attempts to pull it apart by tugging at its legs. Guess it’s gonna be his favorite toy for a while, which is good cos mama loves it too! Haha. Am gonna try and do some daily updates with a single…

  • Guess who found his toes?

I was caught by surprise today when Jerry started playing with his toes! In other news, he has been flipping non stop on the sofa, on the bed, in the bathtub (!!), in the stroller, in his rocker and everywhere else imaginable. So mummy me has my hands tied up and eyes busy keeping an eye on him. Man, it’s tedious work! Nonetheless, I am also trying to spend more time with him since I’m heading back to work real soon. How did 4 months just pass by like that?! Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

  • Jerry turns 3 months!

this was written a week ago but i wasnt unable to load/post it up here for some reasons. I’m not blogging fast enough these days. Mostly plagued with the lack of sleep (still) and just so many random chores or errands to attend to. Hmmm.. Why is that when you “think” you have more free time but still can’t seemed to find time? Anyway, my boy turned 3 months on Friday! Upgrading him to sit upright on the bumbo. He looks a little lost while in it and loves to shake his head like grooving to the music. Pardon me for the following picture galore! have been asked by several…

  • A month more to go!

Exactly one month from now, my maternity leave ends. Time flies! Each passing moment just slipped by and my son is growing and changing every minute! Tonight, I read him 2 books and his eyes were following my fingers pointing at the various animals and seconds after I finished, he gave a small yawn, and knock out pronto! Too cute! If only if the husband is home to witness it. He is still at work right this hour. Meanwhile, the bub has quite a bit of health issues. Or health scares for the mummy! I found a 3.5cm x 1cm bump at the groin area one day, and freaked out.…

  • the perfect present for babies!

or toddlers. or kids for that matter. Well, when my gf kristy’s kids were turning one month old and 2 years old and had a party.. i had a hard time thinking what to get for them. at that point in time, i was still in confinement (her baby was born just 5 days before Jerry) and couldn’t do any physical shopping so online was my only option. it was a big headache because with a older kid in the same gender, they had everything they needed! i was fretting it over for a while until i read jzlyn‘s entry about these customized onesies from PixieThreads, and that was it!…

  • Turning into one of them.

The kiasu parents that can’t wait to let their kids start learning and reading. Ok. It was bothering me for a bit that I wasn’t reading any books or bed time stories or teaching Jerry anything at all for a while. I read books/websites and they all indicated that babies can learn to identify with colors and baby books with sharp contrasts do them good and aid their ability to learn (or something of the sort la). All Jerry had was this sophie giraffe that was gifted and no one also sang children songs to him (I sucks at singing), der doesn’t know what baby/children songs there are or maybe…

  • At 2 months and 2 days old.

Jerry flipped from his back to his tummy! What a milestone! I wasn’t expecting it to happen till he is 3-4 months old? I googled on it and some babies do flip at 2 months. It depends on how strong their neck and limbs are. It happened when I was having dinner and watching tv and we were all in the living room with Jerry and my brother lying on the sofa side by side. I suddenly heard my brother scream, jumped up and quickly turn my baby over to his back again (reflex action) cos he got a fright. He didn’t know my dear baby has been trying to…

  • Happy 2 months, baby!

picture taken in the car today after our visit to the paedatrician. In a flash, 2 months went by just like that! Today, we marked the day with a visit to the paedatrician and had your rotavirus vaccination… A milestone of your own kind. You reacted with a short cry and you are my brave little one. you turned smiley on the way home and although you spent the afternoon being a little cranky, mummy is wishing the best for you and hopefully, you won’t develop a fever. At 2 months, your head circumference has grown to 38cm, grew 2cm longer since your last paed visit to 57cm and weigh…
