mother’s day..
marks the day I decided to start Jerry formula milk. he has been having the runs since mid week and other than fresh breastmilk, everything else seemed to trigger the runs. it pains me to see him hungry since my supplies could barely meet his demand these days. so I grit my teeth this morning and finally opened up the formula milk sample I have lying in the house for the longest time. he seems happy drinking it. what a day to mark the occasion. happy mother's day to me.. and all the mother's out there! 你们最棒!! Jerry at 12 months.
I know I said this many times.. But I can’t quite believe a year has since passed! It’s a big milestone for mummy me, as well as baby jerry. Ok. I must give credit to the husband for surviving it as well. LOL. He’s a TODDLER now. On his birthday, the husband kept telling jerry, “baby, you are not baby anymore.. You are a toddler already!!”. I found it hilarious because I’m not even sure that jerry could understand/comprehend what the husband said. That said, we both are feeling incredulous that time has passed us sooooo fast. Jerry doesn’t seemed to have changed much in the past month, mostly because…

Not quite the baby anymore.. @ 11 months +
Was out shopping as usual on the weekends, but today.. It just hit me that my baby isn’t that baby anymore. Usually, the kid is quiet and amazed by his surroundings. Today, he kept screaming and screaming. At first, I thought it was due to the fact that we were at the art science museum viewing the titanic artifact and it was dark. I promptly exited the exhibition with a screaming baby and waited outside for the husband to be done. But the screaming didn’t stop. It wasn’t the diaper, it wasn’t hunger. He kept shaking his head when I gave him the biscuit, water, milk and his baby food.…

Happy 10 months!
Jerry turns 10 months today! Ever since 2012 swung by, my journal has been declared dead. I barely had the time to do any updates and I consistently missed 2 months of updates of jerry. I feel so bad about it but I barely clocked in enough sleep to survive, and it’s been radio silence on social media front for a long time. I sure got a hyper baby in my hands! From 8 months on, the baby has been clambering everywhere and steps on everything he got get his feet on, my face included. I sometimes think I just might die under his tiny feet some day. I did…

My mum’s invention.
Drool is a big part of my life at this point in time. Jerry has been drooling so much lately, I sometimes wonder if he gets dehydrated from all the liquid loss. He wets his bib ever so frequently and my mum couldn’t launder them fast enough, especially with the erratic weather these days, so she ‘recycles’ his rompers from the night before (the ones Jerry wears to bed with), turn it upside down and let him wear it as a bib to collect his drool. Know what? I personally think its a brilliant idea, environmentally and pocket friendly too! If you try out this idea as well, let me…

The bed snatcher.
Had yet another sleepless night. Baby was cranky and refused to settle. Eventually had to put him in my bed cos I was sooo tired from carrying him. He knocked out and woke every time I tried to put him back into his cot. I gave up from trying and collapsed beside the baby. And no, I didn’t sleep well cos he was kicking me the entire night and I was semi conscious the whole time as well thinking an fearing that he would fall off the bed. I am pretty stoned today. I hope to go home early today! Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

The first battle scar
Came gone today and found a 4cm gash on his face, from the corner of his eye and it’s quite swollen with some part of it blue-black. And my mum only left him for a minute when she went to the kitchen. Sigh. My hyper son just doesn’t stop. He has accumulated quite a bit of wounds all over. I guess there’s more to come. I have yet to document down his 8th months milestones, but the biggest achievement is getting himself OUT of the exersaucer when no one is looking and exploring around the house on his own. Freaked my mum out totally. Guess its time to child proof…

The present!
It’s the husband birthday today.. But I haven’t prep any present at all. I have been too caught up in the flurry of the festivities and then suddenly, the date dawned on me and I haven’t had the time to get away for some lone shopping, especially with me still limping away. I got up early this morning and got the baby to cooperate with me! Tied a ribbon around him and presented it to the husband. Heh. I reckon he is the best present, no? Managed to take pictures of my baby smiling back at me in my camera for these shots. Lovely. Happy birthday darling. May you have…

Somebody loves tissue!
Good morning! Guess who is up and about and having breakfast by himself? The Choos are resting in today after attending a day full of parties yesterday. Meanwhile, mummy is sleep deprived because my baby doesn’t want to sleep anymore! He wakes up in the middle of the night demanding play and early this morning. I am turning panda.
