for my (coming) birthday. Wah.. i feel so lub lub!! without opening the box.. i guessed what the present is! well, it a good bit of cheer to my sicky day. yes. i was down with 38.5 degrees fever last night and i slept at 9pm till this morning. this morning, i thought i was well enough to work, and here i am with a mask and fighting the fever and cough the whole morning. it’s gonna be a Loooooooong day, figured i wont step out from here till at least 9.30pm. wish me luck.

now, the bf fished out something from his cupboard yesterday and told me (in his sick mode) that he got a surprise birthday present for me actually. the girls (+ 2 guys) met up to celebrate shuyu’s birthday last night! it’s been a while since everyone got together, and i guessed everyone enjoyed themselves even though we were pretty much nattering about nonsensical stuff and corny jokes the whole night. and of cos, discussed a wee bit on belle’s wedding that’s coming up in less than 2 months! well, i was trying to crack my brains on how to ‘te-kan’ the groom.. the wedding’s on national day, so if you have any bright ideas to add to my brewing cauldron of activities, just drop me a note!

the surprise..

i felt really bad because i only knocked off at 9+. knowing that i’ll be really strapped at work these couple of weeks due to the looming CNY.. i tried to redeem myself a little the night before. but not before a little hiccup. i fell asleep before i sprung the surprise. well.. a very nice date but im totally feeling damn restless at work. i wish i didnt have to work can?! and… HAPPY BIRTHDAY to mengxin!! and it’s the start of the olympics today!! and google kindly reminded me about it this morning! another thing. birthday lunch treat
i had a long luxurious lunch treat last friday. seriously i was so stuffed that i was ready to PUKE everything out. but the greedy me decided to gobble down another stick of my favourite sea salt caramel ice cream after that. yes, stop telling me i’m greedy! 3 person ordered 4 bento sets. siao right? and mr j keep asking me to ORDER more. i had to stop him for once cos i didn’t think i was capable of eating that much. sushi/sashimi bento and my saba shioyaki set mr F’s ramen set and mr. a big thank you to all that remembered my birthday and really appreciated the fact that so many people wished me happy birthday (thru sms, msn, lj, facebook, emails etc..)! ok. other than the fact that my phone started beeping non stop from 8am in the morning and WOKE ME UP!! and then, it continued beeping at 10-15mins intervals the entire day.. so much so that i had to silent it in the afternoon to grab a nap. der was amused cos he commented that my phone is VERY BUSY. seriously, im surprised that a lot of people remembered my birthday.. and a lot of people whom i hardly talk…
