It’s my birthday again. The last one still felt so recent. I am on leave because I don’t really like to work on my birthday! Dear Jerry, 4 years ago, you popped into our lives on this very day. I still remember how big I was, like a big fat whale at 41 weeks, and 0 dilation. I barely could walk from the pain in the pelvic region, with you pressing down on my bone and I toss & turned in bed everyday till the day the doctor said he needs you to come out, pronto. I know I haven’t been blogging much. It’s been somewhat a crazy last week and I have been making subtle changes to my lifestyle as well. Happy Birthday to me.
And so, I turned a year older on Sunday. It is probably the simplest birthday ever. No flowers, no presents, just my favourite durian cake from Jane’s Cake Station, spent the day running errands and had Hai Di Lao for dinner. This year, I was just happy to be spending time with my little family, just snuggling close to them, and eating the pretend food that Jerry likes to cook in the playroom. My birthday wish? Exactly a year ago on this very day, i had the most bizarre gynae appointment ever, which landed me in the hospital for child delivery WITHOUT the husband by my side. Cookies baking class at TOTT for Zachary’s 4th Birthday.
Jerry spent Christmas at a cookies baking class at TOTT! I almost forgot to jot this down but happen to chance upon some pictures on my flickr sets. We attended a really cool birthday party for Zachary 4th birthday. It was a cookie baking class and jerry’s first attempt at baking! We were slightly late and when we got there, everyone has started!! some weeks back, I turned another year older. uneventfully. I think birthdays get a whole lot more toned down as I age. I spent the day on a quick date with the husb, out watching hossan leong’s stand up comedy and had loads of laughter for company. had a quick dinner before we zipped home for the kids. thank you all who sent well wishes and greetings my way through fb, text messages, whatsapp, IG and all other social platforms, thank you very much. A visit to the S.E.A Aquarium.
i have a love for aquariums, and all kinds of marine life if you haven’t already know. but no, i’m not a diver, not yet. or maybe i’ll never be.. who knows? but it doesnt matter. For now, i’m happy checking out the aquariums all over the world. and when S.E.A aquarium opened, i kept bugging the husband to go but we never found the chance with him being really busy at work (and unable to take leave) and us burning our every single weekend to settle the house furniture/electronics and renovations matters.
