this year, i feel guilty about NOT PLANNING his birthday celebration. after the huge spongebob party last year (read about the preparations here), we were simply too overwhelmed with the other events of our lives (caring for a new baby, renovations works, overseas biz trip and reservist for der etc) to find time prepping for it. i had grand ideas of giving him a polw celebration in sentosa but realised that i don’t know enough kids to send invitation to (party package starts from 20 kids onwards). so, we did nothing except to plan for a family only celebration, together with my nephew Levon who’s birthday falls on the same…

I didn’t plan anything special. at all. I didnt even buy a present. ha! i had almost EVERYONE asked me about the theme. And he turns ONE!
This is late, but the last weekend was madness with 2 party celebrations for Jerry and another for my cousin’s 21st. I am still trying to recover from it with the lack is sleep, which is spent on prepping the party. I slept at 5am on the eve of the party!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY! The husband’s birthday.
Planning for the husband’s birthday made me realize something. I don’t have the excess energy to do something like that anymore these days. It takes a lot of effort! I feel a lot older and less energetic like i was in the past. Any little pockets of time I have, I rather crawl into bed, and close my eyes for a short nap, or simply, spacing out. The present!
It’s the husband birthday today.. But I haven’t prep any present at all. I have been too caught up in the flurry of the festivities and then suddenly, the date dawned on me and I haven’t had the time to get away for some lone shopping, especially with me still limping away. Zachary birthday party.
We attended zach’s 2nd birthday last Sunday. Time flies! I still remembered the day when he was born at Thomson and der & me went visiting. About kids.
Its Estelle’s birthday party this coming weekend! The baby girl of my bestie. I am looking forward to meeting the sec school clique. Haven’t seen most of them for the longest time since everyone is busy with work and kids. I am as guilty as charged. Eagerly bought and wrapped her present last weekend along with a self-drawn decorated card. Haven’t done anything personalized for a long time.. The weekend.
I just wished it didn’t end that fast.. Am feeling from fatigue and the weekend didn’t make it any better! It was grandpa’s birthday (der’s maternal grandpa) and the family had a celebration in the west. Baby jerry seemed to have stolen the limelight from grandpa. Everyone wants a share of him.. I should have set up a booth at the party and do rent-a-baby service and charge everyone by 5 min blocks. Ha. Am joking.
