My Day in a Life Post – It’s Monday!
Happy Monday! Today, I am going to share with you a snapshot of my entire day from morning till dawn, down to the minute details so you can too, can be a part of my very real everyday life. This particular day that I am recording here is last Monday, 20 April 2015. So enjoy! 6.45am: The alarm clock rings and I hit the snooze button. Today, I am feeling very tired because I slept at 2am the night before, doing chores around the house putting away mess while the boys are asleep. I snuggle close to Jerome (he sleeps between the husband and me) and take in his smell…

a whole new meaning to monday blues.
it’s monday and im sure a lot of you are feeling the blues. but you know what? you cant be more blue than I am after a 16 week break. im officially back at work today after maternity leave ended mid last week plus some days of leave to bag myself another weekend. and as for the blues, im joking! im generally quite chirpy and smiley today and here’s the ‘monday blues’ im actually referring to! my #ootd – decked in blue from head to toe. gotcha! its always easy to look at the negatives and wallow in it but staying positive does make my day a…

my labour day.
i started the labour day holiday early in the morning making a table and chair out of the boxes of my water heater and sink in the new house, dicussing the details with the husb and my ID. it went a lot smoother than i thought it would and guess having spent hours the day before discussing with the husb helped. the floor has been levelled! living room master bedroom toilet half wall done! now missing the glass piece and a tiny kerb. kitchen looking really messy at the moment. the other part of the living room.. Its really quite fun seeing everything slowly coming into pieces..…

the day in snapshots.
sorry for the radio silence this week. am a little burnt out from the kids and everything else. am also losing my patience with them and wish i could get a little time out. so yeah, here’s my wednesday in snapshots. i know. friday is beckoning in a few minutes as i type this, but better late than never? shit happens. i was changing jerome on my bed when he decided to pee..and while i was containing the pee, he pooped at the same time.. so it was a mess. so yeah, shit happens and i change sheets and did the laundry. managed to squeeze 2 minutes to cook…

my day during confinement
wanted to jot down a typical day while doing confinement. I don’t think i’ll go through this pregnancy journey again (especially so now that i know i am a g6pd carrier) so i guess some form of journaling is required to remind myself what i went through. my confinement is anything but typical. I would think confinement = loads of rest, constantly lying down resting and not move so that the body can recover. me? i’m constantly “working” non stop and perpetually sleep deprived. i dont have a maid, nor a confinement lady. My house is wayyyyyy too crammed to house any additional person anyway. Here’s how one of my…

a week of random tidbits.
the husb is away the whole week for a business trip, so my hands are very much tied up with the baby. its also a bad week at work with me logging much longer hours with all the happenings coming up, and the bump is starting to give me much discomfort and making me very very tired. slap on the chores of bottle washing and all, I’m pretty much dead to the world before midnight even strike. I didn’t manage to spend a lot of time with the bub though since he’s mostly sleeping by the time I reach home or that its his bedtime and I quickly change him…

hello?
yes. its true. I got into an car accident this morning. I wasn’t paying attention and my car my husband’s car kissed someone’s arse. I meant the bumper. its wasn’t really very bad. the van I bumped suffer some minor scratches. my car plate got smashed into a million pieces and the front fascia is also smashed. boo. its my second accident into two months. I think the sleep deprivation is a major contributor. I am feeling really really bummed bumped. the good news is… I’m alive and not injured at all (my wallet is though) so I guess that’s all it matters. 明天我还是一条好汉 (loosely translated…

Daily outfits.
Dressing up for work has been a challenge, because I am pretty much restricted by the need to pop into the moo moo room (read nursing room). Most of my favorite dresses have to be retired for the moment because it’s such a chore to wear a one-piece because they are just not convenient. Only certain pieces are wearable and works for me – mostly those v- necks dresses where I do not have to remove the entire dress to do the deed. Other times, I try to wear a 2pc (top and bottom) but it’s challenging for me because I can’t quite fit into all my old blouses anymore.…

Of me today.
I must have developed a longing for the weekend so bad, I kept thinking today is Wednesday. Me, in the moo moo room (my pet name for the nursing room), where I get a little ‘retreat’ once a day during work. Anyone counting down to the weekend already? Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.
