Cat mountain surprise.
I love throwing surprises. When the mood struck me that is. And of cos, the opportunity to do so.. I blogged about the goodwood park’s mao shan power puffs that was oh-so-good in my previous post. And because the promotion period is nearing its end, and my mum has yet to try.. The puff was too small to be shared among so many of us the other day so I brought her to buy some yesterday. durian cravings..
i still have the urge to eat durians, everyday! especially since it is the durian season now.. the other day, while we were at goodwood park hotel’s min jiang restaurant for dim sum buffet lunch.. i gobbled down many many portions of durian puddings. it was oh-so-yummy!! can i have more please?! the service was really impeccable, the staff were all so attentive, catering to our dining needs, spotting the teapot needing a refill almost immediately when we were finished it up, the food came at all the right times and even though we polished off the entire cart of dim sum off this lady, she gamely served up everything…

Weirdly, I have been lemming for durians a lot more frequent with the pregnancy. I have no clue why! Well, my mum says that if I do have a craving, I should get it satisfied so that the baby won’t salivate when he/she grows older. Yup, it’s a old wives tales but I don’t mind listening to it since I get to eat what I wanna eat! So, the bro knowing that I have been craving for it constantly, brought me some over the weekend (after my swim on Sunday). He actually went out specifically to get me the durians because his sister me is totally clueless about choosing durians..…

the family
the festive period is a bad time to catch up on my blog entries since I have so much work to do – housework/cleaning up the house, serving my elders, being the unofficial official photographer. last night, when i had the most free time, i spent hours going through my mobile hard disk and pulling out the family pictures to be plonk into the 15″ digital photo frame that my uncle bought. 6 months ago, the family gathered for grandpa’s birthday and we took a road trip to malacca that i totally forgot to blog about. it was a rather stressful trip but a good attempt as we got everyone…
