my blog title says it all. Blind Detective Gala Premiere but here’s my story of how i accidentally met 2 of my favourite HK idols – andy lau & sammi cheng. because the clueless me don’t even know that they are in singapore. wednesday morning. i reached work and saw an email from a colleague that she has 2 pairs of gala premiere ticket to be given away for blind detective. i made a quick call to the husband (who is working in msia) to ask if he could make it back early today (we had wanted to catch the movie after watching the trailer) and he could. and yup,…

Hokkaido Chiffon Cakes, baked by your truly. baking & me don’t quite gel together, because i don’t look like the type that would bake. the last time i baked muffins (from a premix), no one quite believe that i baked them. i actually really quite like baking occasionally, it is just that i dont have a proper oven at home. when i found out about a baking class by munch ministry for a group of mommy bloggers from SMB, i immediately signed up and was super looking forward to it. never mind the fact that it was on a saturday morning at 9.30am. the class is held at the civil…

Closing ceremony of Singapore Youth Olympics Games at the Marina Bay Floating platform
Raphael called me on thursday afternoon and asked if i was keen to watch the Singapore Youth Olympics Games (YOG) closing ceremony. On first thought, i didnt want to be associated to it because it has given me much grief during the last 12 days or more. Until he brought out the fact that we wouldnt have a chance to be so close to an olympic event for the rest of our lives and that the ticket was free, so why not? That kinda made me reconsider. Actually i was more keen on a dinner with raf instead because its been more than a year since we last met… Or…

hee hee. i just bought tickets to an afternoon of continuous laughter and wicked humour – coupled with stick thin legs. ok. i never could get over those skinny legs. gawd. my legs are like TWICE the size of his?! visual taken off sistic.com anyone watching the play too?! i tell you, i was so angry with myself cos i was procrastinating for the LONGEST time and then when i decide to buy, the better seats were gone. and so i thought no one would be buying tickets at 1.30am in the morning. Grrr.. *slaps myself for being dumb*
