More food pictures.
It’s doesn’t take much to know that I haven’t been losing any weight at all. On the contrary, I think I have been eating loads lately to cope depressing moments. Afterall, food is the best way to cheer me up. Am meeting Agnes for brekkie tomorrow before heading to work. I must be mad since I’m not a morning person and struggle to wake every morning. But still, I see it as an adventure! Looking forward to tomorrow. Am loving my lunches this week as well because with the car, I don’t have to eat depressing food anymore! Lunch with Andy zai on Monday. Brought him to the shloop cafe…

Pissed.
Good food tastes bad when you are in a foul mood. Enuff said. What a spoiler of experience and totally a fucking waste of money. Waste of time as well. I could do something more productive than sitting here to fume. Is it so hardto understand that good food makes a happy Cherie? This is so sad. Like, bloody sad. Posted via LiveJournal.app.

Pasta again.
Had pasta for lunch again yesterday!! This time from Hans near my office (trinity christian church). Lovely lunch with jasmine, I miss doing all these happy lunches! Hmm. What’s for lunch today? Having a 2pm meeting = light lunch because a heavy one will make me feel lethargic. Am hungry already! Posted via LiveJournal.app.

Spoiled breakfast
I had the worst soft boiled eggs ever yesterday morning. IF you could call them soft boil eggs. Coupled with thebaf attitude and the long waiting time, I was literally going to throw these eggs in the aunties’ faces. They took like 10 mins to notice me, 5 mins to take a simple order of bread and eggs (the aunties started chatting amongst themselves midway through my order taking and left me staring at them like some idiot), and another 10mins to serve me my food. I saw one of the aunties happily chatting on her phone. If not for the fact that I was dead hungry and desperate for…

happy lunch!
had a really happy and fun lunch today. it was a big group of people but just small enough to engage everyone in the table conversation. fun people and good food always cheers cherie! and the reason for the lunch?! to celebrate all our hard work for the past many many months that was being put in to launch this website. it was my baby, and though there are still tonnes of stuff to be changed, having made it to the launch is quite a feat considering the limited resources, time and budget that we had. and the fact that everything was done in-house. Woots! it was a real painful…

Amused.
Have you seen a bowl of noodles with more meatballs than noodles? That’s andy’s bowl of noodles after I donated 6 of my meatballs to him when we were having dinner together at bedok 85 last Friday. It would have been more, because 2 of the balls went into agnes’ pork porridge. I am so not a meatball person because I ended eating the noodles plain. Still it was yummy food coupled with a tinge of nostalgia. It been a long time since I last visited the place. Posted via LiveJournal.app.

it’s almost bedtime
i’m starting to feel a little hungry but i am willing myself against picking up something to munch/eat. all in vanity sake. a day has passed and while i enjoyed my me-time, the day does feel a little empty without the boy around (to irritate me). i have decided to irritate him with more local fare on my blog for him to drool on. our crystal jade lunch on saturday afternoon. his 油鸡 & 叉烧饭 and my roast pork and carrot cake. missed my favourite egg tarts because they were out of stock. on a totally irrelevant note, been thinking about the job for a while and maybe it is…

lunch date with cindy
cindy came over to my area the other day to have lunch! it was supposed to be the usual trio but mr. koh couldn’t make it at the last minute, so i ended up heading out to meet her alone. were supposed to have lunch at hans (trinity church) but i chanced upon another nook at the church! i would have missed it if not for the sandwich boards and food pictures placed outside as the glass are all tinted! shloop is a cosy little cafe with an adjourning gift/book store. with its prettily painted walls of whimsical drawings, and cute quaint little photo frames and ornaments hung on its…
