My mum’s invention.
Drool is a big part of my life at this point in time. Jerry has been drooling so much lately, I sometimes wonder if he gets dehydrated from all the liquid loss. He wets his bib ever so frequently and my mum couldn’t launder them fast enough, especially with the erratic weather these days, so she ‘recycles’ his rompers from the night before (the ones Jerry wears to bed with), turn it upside down and let him wear it as a bib to collect his drool. Good morning! Guess who is up and about and having breakfast by himself? The Choos are resting in today after attending a day full of parties yesterday. Someone gets a surprise!
The husband whipped out 2 tiny tic tacs today for x.silly. He has been rather gloomy in our books because of all the attention being lavished on jerry since his arrival, and he has sorta been a wee bit neglected. (pardon all the role playing between the husband and me) so, he gets a surprise! Now, can you tell that I’m mighty jealous? The tic tacs are sooooo cute. Is it my calling?
Right this moment, my mind’s racing for ideas on how to keep my highly mobile and active hyperactive kid away from harm. I learnt something new about motherhood – you’ll never stop worrying. Anyway, I was playing word with friends this morning and my brain’s probably not awake yet.. After the early morning stint of trying to settle my hyper kid who is doing acrobatics and slamming his face against the cot at 6am in the morning. All I could see was S.A.H.M.. my hilarious husband.
i suffered from insomnia last night. the baby was also extremely cranky because he was waking up every other hour shrieking in cries in his sleep. must be having really bad nightmares. the husband? he woke last night, went to the dustbin and threw my plushie into it. (ok. actually i didnt know what he was doing in the dark so i asked him when he looked like he was fumbling around the dustbin). turns out, he thought he was holding a soiled diaper in his hand and proceeded to the dustbin and threw in my plushie (which happens to be in his hand). if i weren’t awake, i would…

My chillax baby
Guess the sight that greeted me this morning when I step out from the bathroom? Jerry was chilling in his cot, enjoying a quiet moment or two, crossed his legs and nomming on his fingers, without a care in the world and not disturbed by the fact that I was staring at him. The husband and me had a good laugh. Works wonders in melting away all those worries that I had at the back of my mind. I had a crap weekend and I definitely hope yours was much better. A tiny little pearly.
Right after my previous blog post about feeling jerry’s teeth and not seeing it, it made it’s appearance the next day when I came home from work! I didn’t have any pictures to show though because he moves to much, doesn’t open his mouth voluntarily and when it happens, his tongue is busy thrashing about so it’s peek-a-boo with the pearly white for now. His left teeth is showing first. Too cute. Meanwhile, mummy is giving him cooling teethers to chew on and it’s has proved quite useful in distracting him.. Nom nom nom.
