Just for laughs and in the name of fun.
Seriously, one of the main grouses that most pregnant women have is uninvited hands to the tummy.. Especially those from strangers. Funny how people think it’s perfectly fine to plant their hands on the tummy as they wish.. Seriously, it’s quite a violation of bodily parts and I see it as a sexual harassment of some sort. I mean, you don’t go around touching people’s tummy on normal days so I don’t see why the rule doesn’t apply just when the tummy is protruding! The ‘good’ father-to-be..
This is quite funny so I wanted to blog it down.. The thing is, I think der has yet to come to terms that he is going to be a dad.. As in, really put the kid as priority and focus on learning more pertaining to babies related stuff. Voodoo-Ed!
That’s the present that I bought back for some of my colleagues. I forgot to take a picture of them all before I gave them out.. So, here’s the blackie one that I kept for myself because it was the only one that was in dark skin tone! Hand made dolls made for the Bali street children. Proceeds of the doll goes to giving the kids education and keeping them off the streets so that they can have the opportunity of leading satisfactory and productive lives. I cant remember what i wrote in the post anymore because it was written in paris and paris was a week ago. Its 10.30pm
And i’m 4 hours late of realising the goal of leaving work at 6.30pm. But, i cleared almost all my work and i felt “clean”. My sense of humour also came back with the joy and i left a out of office message to say im off to savour some honey and to bask in the moonlight. I guess when you truly dont care, everything else don’t matter as well! Am not going to check my emails or switch on my laptop for the next 4 weeks. JOY! staying positive.
after a rough week and some nerve-wrecking moments, and a lot of tears and angst.. i decided to start this week positive. i have to learn and remind myself on asking ‘what’ questions when a bad situation hits me, i.e what can i learn from this? I need to uplift myself for the next few weeks to tackle the biggest things in (my) life that’s happening. many thanks to the many concerned friends, encouragement and all. really am appreciative of everything and am very thankful about the angels that popped into my life.
