• Fun night out at Sentosa’s Skyline Luge!

Have you heard about Skyline Luge Sentosa? YOU HAVEN’T?! HOW COULD YOU!!! Oh, I heard you wrongly? You meant you haven’t been there in a while? YOU SHOULD!  I’m not joking when there are people who have no clue what Skyline Luge Sentosa is. They don’t know what they are missing out man! If you are one of them too, please read till the end of the post where I will be giving away family passes so you can go try it out! I can’t remember how many times I have been there, but here’s an entry I documented in 2005 about it when I visited with my besties! It has since been 9…

  • bedtime games.

1, 2, 3, FLY!!!! jerry has been rather delightful to play with these days. he talks soooooo much, we sometimes find it amazing!   I have glow in the dark stars stuck on my room’s ceiling since my secondary school days and the stars have been there for like forever. when the lights are off, I sometimes show him the stars and have him count.    recently, we have developed this ‘touch the star’ game where the husb will carry him all the way up and let him touch it. he chooses the stars he wants to touch.   he goes.. ‘papa! papa! touch the star!! pink star please!’, ‘big…

  • good friday play date.

the bestie’s family and us headed out to jacob ballas children garden on friday morning for some water play. the last time the 2 kids met, jerry was still very young! we wanted to hang out at the sand pit first but jerry was immediately attracted by the sprays of water a distance away and ran towards the water to play!   it was before i could even settle down (i.e. find a shady spot) and *poof* he was gone along with estelle’s plates and with daddy chasing after him. this kid, he really loves playing with water. filled with smiles.. it was extremely tough to capture adequate pictures of…

  • Christmas game : angels and mortals

each year, as Christmas approaches.. a small group of my colleagues will gather to play this game. its actually a secret Santa game but we call our version angels and mortals.   rules of the game – we set aside a budget, draw lots to determine everyone’s mortal (together with 3 items on their wish list based on the budget) and then for weeks leading up to Christmas, the angel has to secretly do nice things for the mortal.   everybody keeps their mortal a secret from each other while others throw out decoys and claim credit for the stuff they didn’t do. on the day of exchange, we usually…

  • weekend fun at polliwogs.

last Saturday, we had to bring jerry to the paed for his vaccination and when we were done, it was only 930am so we decided to check out the newly opened polliwogs at Robertson. I'm usually not keen on visiting playgrounds/play gyms because I'm worried about the older rowdier kids within the same grounds, since kids usually go a bit uncontrollable when they are having loads of fun. however, I read that it was not as crowded since its newly opened and it had a separate toddler area so we decided to go check it out. getting tagged. the service was good and since it was my first visit, the…

  • The home project – muffins baking!

To kill the boredom and get my mind off things (think pain), I attempt to give myself a to-do list each day, be it improving the current situation that I am in (think room cleaning, toilet scrubbing, rearranging of furniture) or simply something out of the norm, like the recent BBQ and yesterday, I baked! Nice, cute, yummy blueberry muffins. Never mind that it was from a pre-mix and relatively simple and fuss free. The best bit was I had fun, kept myself occupied though I had the queen bee (mum) hovering over me in her territory (kitchen), issuing unnecessary instructions and trying to mess with my baking and my…

  • Coin dozer

If only these are real money. I’ll be really rich! What triggered me to hit the 9999 mark was when i was thinking to myself if the app allows the coin to flow on to 5 digits, because the circle up there doesnt seemed like it could hold it. Well, you curious? It does work beyond that, but i thought these 4 digits make a rather nice picture. 4d anyone? Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

  • quiz

just for fun, does anyone know the answer to this? Ali, Rahmat, and John went to the beach to play. After hours of playing, they promptly fell asleep from exhaustion. A short time later, Ali awoke and found a box of pears. Ali ate one third of the pears and went back to sleep. Rahmat soon awoke and upon seeing the pears, ate one third of what was left and then fell asleep. John woke up next and ate one third of what remained. When John finished, there were 8 pears left over. How many pears were in the box originally?
