my other new toy for christmas
havent found much time to do blogging these days. am still rather swapped with work and with the festive season round the corner, i had been busy being the christmas elf going shopping for presents and spending a lot of time wrapping them. plus, attending the various parties and meet-up with friends. its amusing that shuyu pointed out the other day when we met up that i seemed to be running from point a to b to c, non stop. tiring i must admit, but time is too short, work is too much, there are just too many things to be done these days. =( some of you may have…

geek is when you turn into a bundle of joy upon receiving these. i’m shivering with excitement, now i can’t wait to transfer all my files and free up the space! my laptops are all crawling right this moment. and the weekend is ending in 5 mins! alrightly, my eyes are back to my favourite korean drama – the painter of the wind.

of gadgets
and guess what?! i dropped my nikon d80 last friday! *gasp* oh well. i had no choice, i was carrying loads of stuff, and the stupid paper bag GAVE WAY, and all the contents spilled into the floor, including my camera. all i was holding was a stupid piece of folded paper. my heart just broke into a million pieces seeing my scarred D80. the auto-focus function is gone. the camera is confused and it cannot tell where the focus is. if only, i didnt offer the camera for the event. the last ever picture is of my empty cubicle in ayer rajah. maybe things happen for a reason. maybe…

the birthday present for myself.
i always like to buy myself an early birthday present. if a birthday is not enough reason to pamper myself, i don’t know what is. and so, presenting my own present for the year! pic from www.engadget.com wanted the ruby red version but unfortunately it is not out yet, so i had to settle for the white one. it’s sucha breeze carrying this around! my only grouse for the moment is that i wished it had more usb ports and that my long fingers are trying to adjust to the small keyboard.

if i could have one wish, i wish i could own all these shoes.. all these are worth close to 40k! i stuck my feet into each and every pair and find them absolutely gorgeous! it’s so tempting and shiok to walk in these. Expensive shoes of a certain quality you know. It feels different, even more when you know some of them cost more than a thousand.. anyhow, my dream is not going to come true, because i don’t have that kind of money.. and i am not rich. even if i have the money, i don’t think i’ll buy THAT many pair of branded branded shoes. hmmm.. may…

My laptop died. N the saddest thing is I never did any backup of any sort ever since I got it.. There goes my 1.5 years of pictures. I can’t even boot up the laptop. QUESTION
i’m gonna so sound like a nerd. does anyone know how i can update lj using my e71? the N series nokia have lifeblogs but the E series doesnt have it (the reason why i have been keeping to the Nseries all along). is there any software that i can download to use?! am gonna send my n95 in to the hospital later and i’m desperate because i can’t seemed to turn up anything after googling the whole day! i am such a sucker (commented by jen!). i paid $398 bucks for a nokia e71 (after a $400 discount!). expensive i know.. but who cares? so now, i’m the happy owner of my sleek looking gadget! image taken from slipperbrick.com am loving it for now.. and i find the switch tool particularly cool! just 3 buttons and everything from my n95 (contacts/gallery/files) is being transferred into my new phone. how cool is that? ok. am gonna spend some quality time with my latest gadget, and maybe i’ll just send my n95 to the garage for repairs later today (like finally!). wooo hoooo!!

my new toy!
i got myself a new toy on saturday! der bought me the metallic rose pink nds lite as a pre-christmas gift. hahah. christmas doesn’t seemed to be anywhere near! but i have been stinging on myself and not willing to fork out the money (as compared to fishing out my card to pay for his polo ralph tees and other expensive stuff!), so he decided that he would buy it for me. to accompany me when i embark on the new job and the longer travelling journey (kill me please!). but, he seems more interested in the nds lite than me! very pro-actively helping me to download all the games…
