unpleasant experience in ikea – using the baby room.
ever since the incident happened, i haven’t been feeling great and i needed to rant about it. the thought of it irks me to no end. so ya, warning given. rant ahead. ikea shopping.
we did more shopping for the home over the weekend. we had wanted to check out new bed frames at ikea (the staff told us there are new ones arriving) but we ended with only bowls in our shopping cart. jerome is still sick so he stayed home with my mum who babysat him. lunch at ikea. the kiddo was asleep so we didnt get him anything. we were also looking out for ideas for the detailing so i randomly snapped the following pictures for reference, simply because i liked what i saw or it was that something i wanted to do. then.. i chanced upon this kiddy…

Fantastic service from ikea.
Am here at ikea with my brother to exchange some pots that my mum bought yesterday. The pots are hilarious., there are dents and the whole pot is totally outta shape! It's a set of 3 and the biggest pot looked like it melted into some gooey shape which was totally not visible with the packaging. My mum realized it only when she was washing it! They had a good laugh over it. I wanted to take a picture of it but my brother was too fast and returned it. =( Anyway, point is.. Rainy Saturday..
Spent a productive Saturday! Got out of bed early and shifted the furnishings around in the room to make way for the cot delivery! Headed out with aunt (she’s here in Singapore to help take care of myMum while she tries to rest and recover from her recent surgery), brother and der for dim sum at Hua tin. Yummy, but these days.. I can’t seemed to stomach much and the only joy I had was the mango purée with herbal jelly, sago and pomelo. Haha. My boy has got a sweet tooth and is more receptive to all things sweet! Swung by goodwood park for 20pcs of durian puff goodness……
