Lunch at serenity restaurant, vivocity
It’s was roseanne’s (our intern) last day on wednesday. We went to vivocity for her farewell lunch. A diligent, helpful girl that assisted the team for 2 weeks. I didn’t have much time to interact with her, only 4 short days since i was on course, then on leave. And she loved my SI-TOR-SMELLY seal so much that when i came back from leave, she came and asked me where she could buy that. When she knew we were going vivo for lunch, she excitedly exclaimed, “yeah! I wanna go buy the whale!” Me: “huh! It’s not a whale, it’s a seal!” haha. Ok. It’s not funny. So that was…

networking lunch
had a networking lunch on monday with a couple of my colleagues. we were all flabbergasted when we realised that the 4 of us are split across 4 different tables, solely for the sake of network. all the people who came from the rest of the companies resulted in the same fate. seriously, it just made me feel uncomfortable and want to leave the place early. anyway, i was quite thankful that the people who sit with me were quite chatty and not very into networking for the sake of getting something outta it. so, we had some casual chats and loads of laughter. i think overall, i quite enjoy…

Lunch.
Having my lunch at odd hours. Sometimes, i can literally starve! The joke of late is that my team all qualify for application to become 仙女(goddesses), because we don’t need to eat! By the way, that’s not my food if you are wondering.. I was bored while waiting for my lamb chop to be ready. =) [mobile post on bus @ boon keng]

cute bento
jen reminded me with her entries on a very cute japanese meal i had about 3 weeks ago.. i have been wanting to blog about it.. but you know.. work and sleep seemed more important to me these days. i could hardly stay awake the moment i get home! anyway, back to the japanese meal. it was at this shop called Moggi, located at Far east plaza. the whole shop had got the cute japanese feel to it and the server also look quite kawaii! anyway, you place your order through the “vending machines”, pay the vending machines, get a receipt and then wait for your number to be called.…

yummy lunchie!
yesterday lunch was great. frederick whipped up a simple fare of caesar salad and sandwiches for the rest of us, which is totally really nice of him. had mustard butter, bacon, ham, tomatoes, really thin egg slices, croutons, mushroom, prickles, walnuts and loads more. really yummylious by my standards and.. the caesar salad is good! for his hardwork and the time spent preparing the meal.. here’s some photos of the lunch we had.. and tomorrow.. it’s my turn to bring something to the office.. it’s gonna be a hakka dish, the abacus thingy.. “算盘子”? pardon me if the chinese is all wrong. you know, im not good at it. and…
