3 idiots.
No. I am not scolding anyone but I want to introduce you guys to this particular movie that I happened to watch on a ferry while I was in Cebu. I have been telling all my friends and colleagues to go watch it, and have been meaning to blog about it and share but kept forgetting. If you haven’t watched it, you really should. It isn’t a new movie, in fact, its quite dated considering that it was launched in 2009. It is Indian coming-of-age comedy-drama film that went on to be the highest grossing Bollywood film. I guarantee that it is not a waste of time although I did hear feedback that it might be…

my saturday!
spent lazing around because the schedule for the day was thrown askew. der remembered the wrong date for our dental appointment and we woke up, bright and early (after the late night karaoke), rushed through our breakfast and arrived at the dental clinic and be told that we didn’t have an appointment! Oops. it was supposed to be on sunday! that kinda threw us off and since we were so tired from the night before, we decided to stay in and rest.. except that we didn’t really rest. we ended up playing mahjong for 6 hours! we were all so pre-occupied with our tiles and the determination to win each…

about the new year.
the long weekend was packed with tons of activities that I did not have any time alone, unless you consider 3 hours of manicure me-time. I ended 2009 with a movie – bodyguards and assassins and started 2010 with another movie – did you hear about the morgans? it was movie galore because i had this stack of $1 off coupons to be utilised before 31 Dec 09, so we bought movie tickets for all the shows that we wanted to watch, including avatar. Bright and early in the morning, we were up and about and headed shopping! we went to buy shoes for the boy for the shoot, and…

the weekend gone by..
i didn’t know why, but i was totally knackered. all i wanted was to sleep.. but i managed to accomplish quite a bit (as in heading out). finally visited rider’s cafe for brunch. finally because i never quite managed to drag der outta bed for it. also because he is not quite an ang moh breakfast kinda person. andy joined us (he just landed in the morning) so we sorta had quite a bit of fun exploring around the island and me, as usual.. snapping pictures at food. this just got to be my favourite picture of the day…

the weekend (part 3)
sunday started for me way before the sun was up. at 5am, i was staring into the ceiling of my room and hearing the household stirring and my mum knocking on my door at 5.30am. we planned a visit to my grandpa’s house (yes, again!) since last week when mum and brother was there, grandpa had an accident with the new car. i guess the change from some 70+ years of driving a manual car makes it hard to change his driving habits to adapt to an auto car. while a brand new car was crashed, we were more concerned with grandpa so we decided to visit again to provide…

the weekend (part 2)
image from www.gv.com.sg we caught the terminator salvation movie on saturday night! ok. it was a weird movie experience because i had colleagues sitting behind me and around me in the whole hall. the entire vivo city was filled with my colleagues and every corner i turn, i see someone familiar. just imagine 2 big halls full of my colleagues. if that’s not bad enough, my ex-colleagues from pi.zzah ut were also there! they occupy another full hall! and i have people spotting me and texting me/calling me when i didnt see them. so scary! that part aside, i think its a great movie if you are in for action-packed…

just when i thought everything should be quite smooth, i had a crisis last minute. *heart-attack* anyway, in the midst of the mayhem and while waiting for the ‘food provisions’ to come, and peace to settle in… yours truly here tried to be funny. with a fish. i deserve more kisses lah! so, the fish kisses me. seriously, thank god my mum doesn’t read my blog… else she’ll say.. you shouldn’t play with your food! in the meanwhile! i have a date tomorrow night. with terminator salvation! Whee! I think der is quite excited about this.

dinner with raf at dempsey…
or the counselling session that he wanted, rather. we had dome for dinner, a quick one with him mostly reading magazines and then surfing on his mobile phone. hur. weirdly enough, i wasn’t up to my usual gorging stint and all i had was a tomato pepperoni pasta which i didn’t even finish and an aloe vera lime drink that i donated to raf after a sip (it has soda water and is carbonated!). the original plan of watching marley & me in Yishun was aborted because der was still having dinner with his friends in tampines. so, raf zipped me to tampines instead to meet der and we watched…

[LJ2ME] Being so alone..
Do you sometimes feel like you just want to be alone? Some times, these opportunities don’t come by. Today felt like a sucky day. I don’t feel good. I met raf for dinner and didn’t feel good after too. I can’t believe some of the things I hear.. It’s like I’m in a daze and all the stuff I’m hearing are just a dream. Its funny. Not as in funny funny, but like weird. Caught a midnight movie. Marley n me. At downtown east. So totally far from home. It’s a slightly better than okay show. The dog. It pulls my heart strings. Makes me emotionally unstable. So, I think…
