Family portraits.
I never got round to blogging about this till now because the pictures took such a long time to get to me. I lost the mojo to blog about it until recently when i was searching for some family pictures to print for Jerry’s school. we did a newborn shoot for jerome some time back, before CNY this year while i was still in confinement and in the midst of it, we bagged in some family portraits as well. Pregnancy forgetfulness.
If I ever suffer from it.. The times where it’s most apparent is during my gynae visits. I always have tonnes and tonnes of questions between my visits, but each time I step into the consultation room.. I usually forgot at least 50% of the questions and go “aiyah, forget to ask again!” after I stepped out. Didn’t help that my gynae’s clinic is always packed and he is always trying see everyone all the time. Speaks damn fast and for a few times, I actually caught him having a half-eaten burger lying on the table or munching through one between consultations, not that it matters or bothers me. I’m…

the fun saturday morning…
i have been secretly praying that the baby won’t pop out that soon because i very last minute decided to sign myself up for a maternity shoot to capture some memories of this pregnancy. because it’s so last minute, i haven’t really done my research and really think about how i want the shoot to be. i enlisted der’s help in checking out some maternity shoot packages, decided on one, made an appointment that fit into our schedule and viola, the next thing we know.. we are on set. we did the shoot yesterday morning, the only saturday that’s available since our antenatal class ended last weekend, and being totally…

Bunny girl wanna be.
Was on a shoot set yesterday and one of the wardrobe items was this hair band. I seriously have no idea why this was chosen by the wardrobe artist as one of the items. Never thought anyone would wear this on the streets. It was supposed to be a ribbon but still. Looks so out of place. Nevertheless, we had a lot of laughs taking turns trying it on. i was a bunch of grumps due to the lack of sleep. i slept at 8am in the morning (to clear my work before departing), and woke at 9.30am for last minute packing, breakfast and all. for once, der is more gan cheong and kiasu about going to the airport, something that i am not expecting from someone who travels frequently. for me, i just wanted more sleep and nothing else. i never met the photographer and mua before the trip, so i was quite surprised when the duo came up to us and asked if we were who we were. my god, the waiting lounge was huge and there…
