what was planned to be a lazing turned out quite eventful. der’s mum called me up in the early afternoon and asked me to play mahjong! i feel so much like a gambling queen. 4D, toto, mahjong (every other weekend). thank goodness my luck has been quite good on the mahjong table. i shared my game with der’s father since i have to leave to pick der up at the airport and by the time i returned late at night for another game, i ended the game with total winnings was $150 bucks?! i got $65 after the split and paying for the dinner. feel so guilty winning all the…

saw this for the first time with jen when i was at flamingg mangos. never quite spotted the signs the previous times because i never sat at the designated smoking area before (because i don’t smoke!). and i thought it’s quite a funny twist though someone else commented that HOW CAN A SIGN SAY THIS?! dinner date with agnes
what was supposed to be a night of home dinner + mahjong turns out to be an impromptu dinner date with agnes. with yummylicious food and wine, we both are happy campers. i brought her to flamingg mango, this place that i accidentally found when i was looking for a place to bring der during his birthday. i sorta liked the place, it was quiet, relaxing with warm yellow lights, and serves good food and a good range of cheap alcoholic drinks. it’s also quite tucked away so it’s not packed and noisy, which is one of the key reasons why i love the place. hoegaarden lovers would love it…

im feelng a little hungry..
hmm.. am feeling a little bored right now while everyone else is downstairs BBQ-ing. decided not to join the crowd cos the indian “strangers” are annoying the hell outta me, intruding into our bbq affair and grabbing food to eat! so much so that i didn’t even get to taste a single stick of that satay cos i was upstairs clearing out my full memory card in order to take more pictures. i felt really bad because i only knocked off at 9+. knowing that i’ll be really strapped at work these couple of weeks due to the looming CNY.. i tried to redeem myself a little the night before. but not before a little hiccup. i fell asleep before i sprung the surprise.
