The present!
It’s the husband birthday today.. But I haven’t prep any present at all. I have been too caught up in the flurry of the festivities and then suddenly, the date dawned on me and I haven’t had the time to get away for some lone shopping, especially with me still limping away. Last Christmas, I gave you my heart..
What better present to gift your spouse than your heart? Or love for the matter. I kinda ran out of ideas on what to get the husband for christmas. He is a rather simple person and has everything he needs and I unfortunately am not able to fulfill his only wants which are all the high end, highly desirable watches that are at least a 5 digit figure. The husband whipped out 2 tiny tic tacs today for x.silly. He has been rather gloomy in our books because of all the attention being lavished on jerry since his arrival, and he has sorta been a wee bit neglected. This came in the mail today, courtesy of evonnz. I happen to win the nail polish in one of her giveaway and am really really excited to get the dotting tool as a bonus. About kids.
Its Estelle’s birthday party this coming weekend! The baby girl of my bestie. I am looking forward to meeting the sec school clique. Haven’t seen most of them for the longest time since everyone is busy with work and kids. I am as guilty as charged. Eagerly bought and wrapped her present last weekend along with a self-drawn decorated card. Haven’t done anything personalized for a long time.. The present for hubby.
So, I ran out of ideas of what to buy for hubby for the anniversary. He’s quite the no-frills guy and wear shorts, tee and slippers to work.. And he has loads of those cos I’m a fan of threadless tee (as a shopper, not a wearer). As for gadgets, he has all the gadgets he needs – MacBook pro, iPad, iPhone.. His wallet is relatively new and is the same brand/colour as mine so doubt we’ll be changing it out anytime soon. Happy birthday to myself!
It went by like any other day, but that’s how birthdays are to me as I grow older. Der celebrated it for me the night before and brought me to greenwood fish bistro simply because it was oysters night and knowing how much I dig oysters. The MacBook Pro
Finally decided it was time to retire my old toshiba laptop and got myself a 13″ MacBook pro. Like finally. This arrived last week, brought by my uncle from the US with upgraded 8gb ram together with all my other online shopping loots (mostly baby related). But while I unpacked everything else and packed them aside, this is been lying in a corner.. untouched. This is so unlike me. The first weekend post the end of my official confinement period, we popped out with our friends, along with Jerry and had buffet lunch at triple three.
