Product Review: Philip Avent Breast Pump (Single Electric)
**Sponsored Product Review** My breast feeding journey hadn’t been a really smooth one but i sort of persevered through it, reminding myself that breast is best. based on that one single notion, i pushed on no matter how tired i feel and how tough it is. those who have been around reading for a while would know that i had been unable to latch my kids – BOTH my kids. As much as i tried a lot harder with the 2nd kid, the situation and the circumstance just means it was not meant to be. without being able to latch, the breast pump is really my best friend in the…

Shupeas Product Review + GIVEAWAY: Looking for soft, comfy shoes for your baby?
Shupeas *product review* during the days when Jerry was a baby, i was having a really hard time trying to buy nice, cute, and comfy shoes for the kid. a lot of the designs in the market were quite MEH and they are oh-so-expensive too! it even got to a point where i was so frustrated in the search and even asked the husband to go start a business in baby/kids shoes since he is somewhat in the shoe business. #truestory truth is, there are only a few nice brands around with very limited designs and they are expensive, especially not worth the buck when the kids grow out of…

Drypers DryPantz – Having more time for the things that matters.
**sponsored post for Drypers DryPantz** when i started jerry on childcare a little more than 2 months back, i checked with the teachers about toilet training and was told to put Jerry on training pants instead of regular diapers. so it was really timely when Drypers very generously offered me some DryPantz to try. it’s been a while that i thought about toilet training the kid and high time i start since he is able to pee on demand and tells me he has pooped right after the deed. I just gotta train him to tell me before he does! and in school, the teachers teaches him how to pull…

NIVEA 14 Days Challenge :: The Results!
Here’s the results of the NIVEA 14 Days Challenge! About 2 weeks ago, I shared about the discovery of the all-in-one body moisturizer, whitening serum and sun block – NIVEA Body UV Whitening Serum with SPF 25, and took up the 14 days challenge to see if my skin would be fairer and more radiant. It’s been 14 days since I used it. And here’s the result in picture! While I must disclaim that the picture are taken in different lightings with the latter in a brighter environment, you can still visibly spot that the skin is smoother and looking more supple and brighter in the bottom picture. My watch…

The NIVEA 14 Day Challenge.
The NIVEA 14 Day Challenge. In the past, I was never quite bothered with skin care or sun block on a regular basis because I didn’t think much of the sun damage. All that changed when I got pregnant with Jerry more than 2 years ago. I started noticing that my skin condition is looking really bad, like I have age spots all over my arms and pigmentation spots all over my face. Sure, I know it’s the works of the increased production of melanin during pregnancy, but because of it, I was made aware of these age spots and pigmentation that I never noticed (or bother to notice) before.…

Product Review – Scotch Kitchen Scissors from 3M + GIVEAWAY!
Want a pair of premium kitchen scissors? Scotch Kitchen Scissors from 3M is the perfect choice for you. When 3M recently asked if I’d like to do a review for their kitchen scissors, I was beyond thrilled. It’s quite an apt product for a mother, don’t you think? Although I barely need to step into the kitchen since I reach home daily to find hot meals waiting for me at the dinner table (my mum is a full-time housewife), and often gets chased out of the kitchen by my mum because she cannot stand me pottering around HER kitchen…I do still cook when I get the chance and I love…
