the weekend.
the realization that the CNY is just a week away hit me, and i was in a frenzy cleaning mode the whole weekend. cleared up my room, dump some stuff, reorganized some other stuff, and then.. i threw out about 30 pairs of shoes. not throw technically. I am going to donate them to the salvation army and my lovely der is going to help me with it since it was quite late by the time i was done last nite! so he is going to drive to bishan today and help me unload the shoes. attended chloe’s 1st birthday party on sat and had a lot of fun with…

bored and home alone
with my supposedly dinner appointment cancelled and me being a pack of lazy bones, i am home alone today. the family have set off for grandpa’s place in rengam before day break (damn! should have gone along if i knew the appointment will be cancelled). i feel guilty for being so busy and not visiting my grandparents as much as i should, even though each time, i look forward to the glorious food galore there. the family wont be back till tomorrow, and with the boy in europe.. life is suddenly very still at the moment, especially with the change of plans. nonetheless, i have set aside a whole list…

wireless sucks!
ok. i conclude that wireless internet connection sucks! at least in my place! it slows my computer to a crawl, and i keep losing the connection! Grr. it is very annoying.

from the room
with the new purchases of a computer table, chair and wireless network adapter, i fulfilled my dream today. i shifted my computer into my room and abandoned my computer station in the living room that i have resided in for the last 10 years. it feels great. to have privacy, and blasting my itunes so that i can hear it when i am in my toilet. it may be a simple task for many, but it’s my dream for ages and i feel like im in heaven tonight. shall work on revamping the living room tomorrow before the dowager is back on fri!
