the hubby knows me best.
just the other day, the hubby was asking me.. hey, you think when you are at home most of the time during your maternity, would you be able to save more money since you don’t have much chance of spending money? Me – nope. i think i’ll squander all my money away on online shopping. him – hmm.. that’s what i think so too. die la like that. haha. the truth is, i don’t even need to wait till i’m on maternity. just 2 nights ago, i clicked, clicked and got myself a black clutch bag from ASH! i have been lemming for a clutch for the longest time, and…

Brand NEW maternity wear for sale!
i have been dithering about this for like the longest time. The thing is, i’m too lazy to take pictures of the clothes and too lazy to search for the pictures online.. procrastination at work, really. but with just days away (i think), i better get down to it before i really have NO time to spare when my days are rolled into nursing and caring for the baby. i previously blogged about(or was it a tweet?) me ordering some maternity clothes from gap & old navy earlier this year and my orders got bungled up and was not sent to my aunt till much later (late feb). it was…

Ain’t a joke
I previously blogged about the fact that there is NO cotton panties available for sale. And here’s the visual proof for it. See all that empty racks?! It’s really outta stock, islandwide. Well, only the paper ones are available. Just thought it’s damn amusing. Anyways, I managed to get mine.. Across the border, that is. My dear hubby bought it for me in Msia..though he says it’s damn embarrassing for him to buy female deposable panties. Haha! It’s such a weird sight, innit?! Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

The last big purchase for Jerry!
Been meaning to blog this down but I seemed to be really tired these days. I guess all that sleepless nights (waking in the wee hours of 4am everyday) is taking a toil on me as the weeks and months passes, especially since work has been equally draining and I had to force myself to concentrate in order to meet those deadlines. Am also stressing out about my long overdue claims (I’m so not diligent in that matter) and stuff like packing up my desk, and starting to work on my handover.. Feels a little deja vu because this was exactly what happened last year when I was prepping for…

Choo Choo..
Baby shopping. We are at it every other weekend.. Striking off an item or two each time.. Or loading up frivolous stuff randomly. Last weekend, we thronged the taka baby fair but it was too crowded and too hazardous with everyone squeezing all over, knocking into things and people, people pushing their way through and the cramp aisles.. I promptly left in less than 15mins. I rather pay more than go through the torture! Besides, I think they should have wider aisles for people to walk because everyone I see in there is either spotting a big tummy, baby stroller in hand inching their way around or having a baby…

Sunday just flew pass..
Started the day really early and head off for a swim. With me deciding on attempting natural birth and not taking any epidurals if possible, the gynae has advised that I start swimming to build up my muscles, strength and perhaps, stamina? So swim plans are on every weekend now. It’s nice to be able to swim in a pool all by myself too, thanks to Jen.. I popped by her old place (her mum’s place now) for a swim! Check out the empty pool with only me in it, swimming. I like it for the fact that it’s a 50m pool so it’s great that I could do laps…

Rainy Saturday..
Spent a productive Saturday! Got out of bed early and shifted the furnishings around in the room to make way for the cot delivery! Headed out with aunt (she’s here in Singapore to help take care of myMum while she tries to rest and recover from her recent surgery), brother and der for dim sum at Hua tin. Yummy, but these days.. I can’t seemed to stomach much and the only joy I had was the mango purée with herbal jelly, sago and pomelo. Haha. My boy has got a sweet tooth and is more receptive to all things sweet! Swung by goodwood park for 20pcs of durian puff goodness……

Meet my new but vintage looking friend
Last day in rome. We have nothing else to do but roam the streets aimlessly. And i had to lay my eyes on this. Grrr. Feels silly buying 2 of the same nappa charm bag (though different size and material) but i just had to get this cos it looks different from the usual ones… And i didnt spot this in the milan store. I love love love the prints because its old school looking. Oh wells, they didnt have the greyish blue color for the small one here either. You gain some, you lose some. I didnt manage to get the new chanel bag that i was eyeing from…

Honeymoon day 2 – roaming around milan.
Its the duomo visiting day! Funny how we didnt visit it the first day especially since it was just in front of our hotel! According to der, he said this is one of the grandest duomo he has ever seen. I cant decide between the one that i have seen in spain and this, but grand indeed it was. Frontal view. Taken at an angle. Us with the duomo. The interior with really tall ceilings. The beautiful stained glass windows thats not showing clearly from my phone camera. The intricate designs at the front of the duomo and the beautiful paintings hanging. All the monumentos in the duomo. This part…
