my $1k weekend
i had an expensive weekend. and my, the cost of living is really rising huh?! i didn’t think i did anything special. the major major part was shopping, and eating. and no..i didn’t buy a lot (maybe that’s what i think!). my buys.. – 2 levi’s jeans (yay to wearing jeans on weekdays!!) and mainly due to the trade in your old jeans for $50 promotion that’s currently on.. and i bought very interesting levi’s jeans (designs from japan) that i heart a lot. – a gucci leather card holder (a pamper myself item) – a laptop bag – a legless chair from muji (it’s was on sale and i…

I just witnessed a young chap decked in berms, sneakers, polo tee tell off a mature indian office worker (in smart pants and shirt) to pick up the flyer that he just threw onto the floor and throw it into the bin behind me.. the weekend’s ending!
in less than an hr, the weekend is over. my errand running weekend that is. from going to get my nails done (self pampering), to getting the new mobile, some light shopping, checking the lv store out, hanging out with jen and vital for some good company, changing the nds charger and sending my phone to the nokia hospital. i am quite amazed at myself, travelling around the island and getting all these done. i feel so accomplished! then again, i thought i would be staying home to sort out the some 1600+ photos from the melbourne trip. errmm.. obviously it didnt materialize. the thing abt snapping a lot of…

I just walked past my orthodontist! My super boyish, handsome and cute orthodontist! But he going down the escalator and i’m going up so no chance to talk. The last time i bumped into him was at the airport in the wee hours of the morning, him fetching his brother and me fetching der. *swoon* Now you know why i had braces? Haha. 2 working days. 2 different persons. 2 different levels. 2 different departments. i heard the same message from 2 different mouths – 1 from a primary school classmate, and the other a new colleague that i was newly introduced to today. Welcome to hell! makes me really think… am i really in hell? and if i am, which level am i in? is the hell here gonna be worse than the hell that i jumped out from?

droopy eyes
a heavy lunch of yong tau foo is the nemesis of my working day here. with the rain pattering outside, and the air con freezing as a result of it, my eyes are feeling extremely droopy and i keep yawning non stop! doesn’t help especially when im trying to read a 1.5″ thick file. any pointers to help me stay awake?
