hairy matters
urgh. my fringe is growing longer these days and soon, it will cover my eyes!! It has yet to reach the “poking” stage but yesterday, a male colleague commented that my hair is very messy and frizzy! i am shocked, cos i thought my hair is quite neat. being paranoid, i came to work today after applying a layer of anti-frizz. wondering where to go and cut my hair this time round since its quite sensitive to head back to where i got the haircut for some reasons. *sigh* ok. it’s lunch time though im not hungry.. just restless. :S

Listless
These days, i find myself listless and restless.. Totally not in the mood for any work and practically dragging myself to work every day. I find happy things to indulge in, but at the end of the day when my head hits the pillow.. I don’t really feel good. Even in this blog-o-sphere.. I lost the energy to keep track of my activities. I lost the motivation to blog. The thought of shutting down the blog did occur to me.. I cannot believe it. the chinese new year
as i was reading everyone’ else entries about the cny.. it seems i am having a less than normal cny celebration as compared to everyone else. no special customs that i read about, no queuing of the kids to pay respects to the elders to get angpows.. no house visiting for me.. being a true blue singaporean that i am.. i never spent a single chinese new year in singapore for as long as i can remember. so, cny for me means shopping for groceries in the hypermarkets in msia, VCD/DVD buying, movies going in the town of klaung, and then these days, it’s being stuck to a laptop and…

i haven’t been blogging much. i think i broke my own record. i didn’t turn on the laptop at night after I reach home daily.. i also slept before 9pm for many days of the week. i was also punctual, or rather EARLY for work for the entire week. it’s been a busy week. i caught a nasty virus and my throat is inflamed the entire week, and subsequently, i started hacking non stop. it hurts. not very pleasant if you asked me. today since yesterday, i have been feeling feverish on and off. urgh. will the bug just leave me? in other news, i have diligently been packing my…

it’s finally over!
the event went really well.. as per the feedback i had. the response was overwhelming.. had only less than 10 drop-outs of those who rsvped and many more turned up.. only a major glitch which caused the guest to stand and sit and stand again.. but everything went really well though i was really (1)tired, (2)lost in thoughts and (3)nervous. oh wells. it’s over and for the last 5 hours.. i so want to scramble out of the office and find a place to sleep. and yes. i didn’t do work the entire day after i got back to the office except for a little release and spent all the…

As i sit in a taxi stuck in the morning jam.. I realised that i haven’t been wearing pants to work for the lo000oongest time.. And that someone who used to think she doesn’t look nice in dresses wears them so frequently now. Changes. It happens before you realised it. Grr.. I hate morning traffic..
