• Jerry at 12 months.

I know I said this many times.. But I can’t quite believe a year has since passed! It’s a big milestone for mummy me, as well as baby jerry. Ok. I must give credit to the husband for surviving it as well. LOL. He’s a TODDLER now. On his birthday, the husband kept telling jerry, “baby, you are not baby anymore.. You are a toddler already!!”. I found it hilarious because I’m not even sure that jerry could understand/comprehend what the husband said. That said, we both are feeling incredulous that time has passed us sooooo fast. Jerry doesn’t seemed to have changed much in the past month, mostly because…

  • And he turns ONE!

This is late, but the last weekend was madness with 2 party celebrations for Jerry and another for my cousin’s 21st. I am still trying to recover from it with the lack is sleep, which is spent on prepping the party. I slept at 5am on the eve of the party!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY! Mummy and daddy is very very proud of you and it’s has been a great year thus far. I am still trying to gather all the pictures taken that day before I do a detailed post on it. So a quick call out to those that attended and taken pictures, can send me the pictures? Thank…

  • fun with balloons

here's what you do when you still have half a tank of helium after a birthday party.. blow up a bunch of plastic bags and tie them with a string like they are kites. I had loads of fun playing after the kiddo went to bed, with my mum, my aunt and hubby as accomplices. just because were wanted to deplete the tank. after all, it's paid for so why waste? here me with some of the balloons. and my living room ceiling filled with them. and yup. I actually love helium balloons. I would be really happy if someone gift me with a huge bunch of balloons! I think…

  • Day 4 in shanghai.

[WARNING!! Long post ahead!!] Look of the day! We were up bright and early for a long day! Visited the most iconic building of the city – the oriental pearl tower. It was the first time taking the city metro was well. My metro ticket and the busiest station in shanghai – People’s centre (人民广场). The picture is a little blur cos I panicked a little when the door opened. Inside of the train, during the non peak period. Think this was 11am in the morning. Another shot. Similar to our train stations. The iconic building from a distance. There’s something about circular overhead bridges and shanghai. They are all…

  • just because…

I haven't posted my pretty face (if I may say so myself) here for a long while! wanted to do a look of the day post instead but my home mirror had dust specks. took this in the office lift while I was going for a meeting at another level.. and yes! I am a HTC one x/android user! and for a long long while, I haven't put on shadows for work but I did a nude look today. 2 more days to the weekend and Jerry is going to turn ONE. man… has it REALLY been a year? • the jap dinner at Wahiro

Right this moment, I’m so full that I can’t quite move an inch. I’ll risk puking. Serves me right for being soooooo greedy. Had a nice dinner with Der at wahiro tonight. It was not planned, we happened to be in the area and wanted to have dinner before proceeding with our errands, and since Der haven’t been there, I thought I’ll bring him. here’s the pictures galore. trying out the gorgeous cam on my new HTC One. hopefully they are good enough to make you drool! fresh sashimi. Der ordered a set meal that comes with a portion and I ordered an additional platter for myself..feels a little dumb…

  • Not quite the baby anymore.. @ 11 months +

Was out shopping as usual on the weekends, but today.. It just hit me that my baby isn’t that baby anymore. Usually, the kid is quiet and amazed by his surroundings. Today, he kept screaming and screaming. At first, I thought it was due to the fact that we were at the art science museum viewing the titanic artifact and it was dark. I promptly exited the exhibition with a screaming baby and waited outside for the husband to be done. But the screaming didn’t stop. It wasn’t the diaper, it wasn’t hunger. He kept shaking his head when I gave him the biscuit, water, milk and his baby food.…

  • Day 3 in shanghai

We obviously didn’t wake up till late morning from the late night karaoke. It was a chilly day so I wore a knit dress With leggings and layered over my jacket. I think I looked gloomy with the colors I brought over and the dark mirror I took my picture in. Apple store at Huai hai (m) road. It’s at the connecting building adjacent to our apartment, a 2-storey high store but not the biggest available here. Traffic light. Be warned, did you see it’s half red and half green? Apparently you are supposed to cross half and wait for the other half. It’s sooooo misleading that I think I…

  • Day 2 in shanghai

My outfit for the day. Brought x.silly out with me for a day of adventure, though I actually didn’t really do much. By the time we got out of the apartment, it was way past noon and we were famished! Typical street of shanghai. Barren trees with nice weather (it’s spring now).. We headed to 佳家汤包 for lunch, recommended by my colleague, bev. I had no idea where we were actually because we took a cab to the outlet we went (Bernice gave the instructions) because that particular outlet has a higher rating. I later found out there was an outlet just round the corner from our apartment. Ha! There…
