The ex-pizza folks.
And happy lunch! Lunch on Friday with James and colleagues, all of which came from the same ex-company, though different generations. They were replacements after ‘my batch’ left, but the world is small. Actually, I gate crashed the lunch appt because I happened to call James up to date him for lunch and turns out, he was popping by our office to meet these 2. So yeah, I very thick-skin-ly gate crashed. Hope the girls didn’t mind but well, I really quite enjoyed the lunch except we were caught in the heavy rain and very very bad traffic en route back to office. Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

My chillax baby
Guess the sight that greeted me this morning when I step out from the bathroom? Jerry was chilling in his cot, enjoying a quiet moment or two, crossed his legs and nomming on his fingers, without a care in the world and not disturbed by the fact that I was staring at him. The husband and me had a good laugh. Works wonders in melting away all those worries that I had at the back of my mind. I had a crap weekend and I definitely hope yours was much better. Meanwhile, onwards to a short week! Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

Daily outfits.
Dressing up for work has been a challenge, because I am pretty much restricted by the need to pop into the moo moo room (read nursing room). Most of my favorite dresses have to be retired for the moment because it’s such a chore to wear a one-piece because they are just not convenient. Only certain pieces are wearable and works for me – mostly those v- necks dresses where I do not have to remove the entire dress to do the deed. Other times, I try to wear a 2pc (top and bottom) but it’s challenging for me because I can’t quite fit into all my old blouses anymore.…

Mr two-tooth.
Finally. A picture of the 2 teeth. I used to trick my baby using my finger for him to suck on while the milk preparation is in progress because when he wants his milk, he wants it NOW. Nowadays, it’s damn painful because he’ll gnaw at my finger instead and my finger usually comes out sore and red, and a tad painful if I may add. I’m just glad I’m not latching him! The menu.
The pumpkin is on the menu tomorrow for Jerry. And it happens to be in the October, the month where Halloween is happening. Ok. A little far-fetch perhaps, but I’m mega excited. Unfortunately, tomorrow is one of those working weekends for me and it’s gonna be a mad rush in the morning, just so I can get out in time for a work event… Making my already precious weekend shorter, and a lot more precious. Definitely not looking forward to the many other weekend events that’s in the pipeline. By the way, the husband us jetting off again on Monday. I am not looking forward to that as well. Boo.…

Flushed.
My poor kid. Running his first ever fever tonight. On all days, it had to be a frantic Friday. My mum called and told me about it while my brother took a picture and whatsapp-ed me. When I got home close to midnight, he has already gone to dreamland. However, the fever is still lingering around. I hope he gets well soon! X.silly got jealous about all the attention that was being lavished on the baby, so he too think he has a fever. Heh. Hilarious. Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

Crying bunny.
*wails* why isn’t the weekend here yet? I want papa & mama! Heh. This is the best picture I managed to capture last night when Jerry starting crying. I actually left him to cry and whipped out my camera instead. Man, it’s hard taking a picture of a struggling, flipping, wailing monster. Meanwhile, it’s Friday! Last burst of work before the weekend beckons. Now, excuse me while I bury myself in frantic Fridays in my office. Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

Life.
When one’s depressed, on the brink of a nervous breakdown and feel like you are at your wit’s end and nothing seemed to go right.. You end up doing silly things. Because you couldn’t quite think straight and you just want to end it all. Exactly like how the recent news of the young mother that brought her son to drown with her at the reservoir. I empathize with her. We are the same age. Tipping point. Funny. Tipping point I mean. Reminds me of a book the husband used to read. I think I’m there. At the point, of tipping over. And I thought of a silly act. No.…

Happy 5 months!
Time flies. I hardly can catch up with all the milestones for my baby! In summary, he grew 2 bottom incisors, grown much taller, learnt to crawl/burrow and went for his first swim at a public condo pool in the last month. Baby lounging on the deck chair.. Lounging in his baby seat. With daddy! Time spent with baby has decreased significantly ever since my return to the workforce and mummy me is playing catch up during the weekends. I do wish I have more time to spend with the baby but really, it’s too expensive to bring up a kid in this day and time to quit my job.…
