One little pearlie starts to show..
After like hundreds of attempts, here’s one precious picture that shows the little white pearlie. The other one is not that obvious yet, but I must say he is gonna have huge teeth like mummy and daddy! Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

Fantastic service from ikea.
Am here at ikea with my brother to exchange some pots that my mum bought yesterday. The pots are hilarious., there are dents and the whole pot is totally outta shape! It's a set of 3 and the biggest pot looked like it melted into some gooey shape which was totally not visible with the packaging. My mum realized it only when she was washing it! They had a good laugh over it. I wanted to take a picture of it but my brother was too fast and returned it. =( Anyway, point is.. They usually do a credit refund but my brother is too lazy to do a pick…

Pretty nails.
I had wanted to pop put for manicure & pedicure this afternoon cos my last (self) manicure has been 2 weeks ago and the new growth was quite unsightly and the polish was beginning to chip real bad. I was really lazy and was on the verge of stepping out when I guilt tripped myself. Seeing the amount of nail polishes that I have…. I’m really not doing them any justice.. And mostly, I also feel stupid when I head out and paint on some opi colour when I already have them in the house. So I got down to hardworking mode, left the baby in the husband’s care and…

A tiny little pearly.
Right after my previous blog post about feeling jerry’s teeth and not seeing it, it made it’s appearance the next day when I came home from work! I didn’t have any pictures to show though because he moves to much, doesn’t open his mouth voluntarily and when it happens, his tongue is busy thrashing about so it’s peek-a-boo with the pearly white for now. His left teeth is showing first. Too cute. Meanwhile, mummy is giving him cooling teethers to chew on and it’s has proved quite useful in distracting him.. Nom nom nom. Meanwhile, I discovered a trait that der has that is EXACTLY the same as his son.…

Separation anxiety.
It’s one of those mad rush mornings today. My mum wasn’t in since she left the house before the sun is up to JB for her post surgery check up and I didn’t have that extra pair of hands to help me out in the morning, just so I could prep for work faster. Hubs and me had to pack the baby off to the in-laws, who has taken leave especially to help us take care of the baby till my mum is back. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take leave as I had a launch to do today and the husband has some timelines to meet. It was the first for…

The office’s moo moo room.
If there is one novelty for me when I headed back to work after almost 5 months (with the hospitalization leave prior and annual leave after my maternity leave), it is the excitement of checking out the nursing room in the office. The whole experience is very exciting, as well as daunting.. Not really knowing what to expect. And sure enough, my first day of using the room threw me off a little, because of my own carelessness.. I forgot to bring quite a few essentials – container/ziplock bags to identify my milk bottles (mark them as mine), ice-pack to cool them for transportation home, and the cooler bag! I…

Is this it?
The kind of face that you come home to and makes all your frigging fatigue melt away and cast all that worries and stress to thousands of miles away that you don’t even remember they exist. If it is, it ain’t happening to me. I am suffering from a terrible headache the entire day, likely from the lack of sleep (he kept crying in the middle of the night these days like NON STOP in his sleep and nothing would soothe him until we cradle him in our arms. I’m baffled!) and the budding stress from timelines at work is not making it better. I feel like I am in…

Of me today.
I must have developed a longing for the weekend so bad, I kept thinking today is Wednesday. Me, in the moo moo room (my pet name for the nursing room), where I get a little ‘retreat’ once a day during work. Anyone counting down to the weekend already? Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

The weekend.
I just wished it didn’t end that fast.. Am feeling from fatigue and the weekend didn’t make it any better! It was grandpa’s birthday (der’s maternal grandpa) and the family had a celebration in the west. Baby jerry seemed to have stolen the limelight from grandpa. Everyone wants a share of him.. I should have set up a booth at the party and do rent-a-baby service and charge everyone by 5 min blocks. Ha. Am joking. We swung by earlier than everyone since we were in the vicinity for a weaning talk and the grandparents got some alone time with Jerry, which is nice because the smiles on their faces…
