Its 10.30pm
And i’m 4 hours late of realising the goal of leaving work at 6.30pm. But, i cleared almost all my work and i felt “clean”. My sense of humour also came back with the joy and i left a out of office message to say im off to savour some honey and to bask in the moonlight. I guess when you truly dont care, everything else don’t matter as well! Am not going to check my emails or switch on my laptop for the next 4 weeks. JOY! And i also cleaned my desk, cleared out the junk and shredded tonnes of paper, leaving my clean desk with the following…

The present from the land of rising suns.
[x-posted to derrielovestory.livejournal.com] Came home the other day and saw a big parcel on my bed. Had to crop out the address! The present that came in a nice miffy rabbit wrapper and a toy story 3 lenticular card that made me dizzy. The back of the card, revealing the sender. Tah-dah! Its a digital photo frame that comes with swarovski crystals! Pretty pretty! This is how the actual product looks like. Can you see x.silly peering into it? Thank you kenties. Derrie appreciates the sweet thoughts and the kind intention behind the wedding gift! Still… Told you its the PRESENCE and not the PRESENT that we care about right.…

Closing ceremony of Singapore Youth Olympics Games at the Marina Bay Floating platform
Raphael called me on thursday afternoon and asked if i was keen to watch the Singapore Youth Olympics Games (YOG) closing ceremony. On first thought, i didnt want to be associated to it because it has given me much grief during the last 12 days or more. Until he brought out the fact that we wouldnt have a chance to be so close to an olympic event for the rest of our lives and that the ticket was free, so why not? That kinda made me reconsider. Actually i was more keen on a dinner with raf instead because its been more than a year since we last met… Or…

Irritated, by my shoes!
Started the morning feeling really annoyed because i had to tie my ‘shoe lace’ with every 5 steps. Argh. Not helping that im wearing short skirt which makes bending down unsightly and kneeling down difficult… Plus the fact that i am lugging a big bag with my laptop. Argh! I feel like throwing the shoes into my bag and walk bare footed!! Posted via LiveJournal app for iPhone.

Presenting the wedding shoes!
[entry is x-posted to the wedding blog – derrielovestory.livejournal.com] It’s just 18 more days to the wedding and my wedding shoe is ready!! After 2 fittings and some adjustments and beautifying, it’s finally ready for the big day! In the meanwhile, the shoe elf is still working on a gold pair of heels to go with my short dress (but with a long train) for the solemnization ceremony. It was sparked off when i was shoe-shopping for a gold pair of heels to match the short dress and i want it with a wee bit more character to go with my loud, victorian-styled tea dress. It should be ready by…

My saturday in pictures.
Had a busy and tiring day! My dress code for the day. Still loving my curls. New rocker chic heels from where the boy works at. The rubber soles totally rock! Have loads of friction in them too! We spent the day being busy bees. I had to go get all the bridesmaid dresses and der had to think of his brothers’ gear. Here’s a snapshot of my boy.. Looking damn cute. Errm. Not with those berms. Haha. Also managed to squeeze in a dinner at por por’s house where everyone was present and we got to say hi to everyone… Before rushing off after dinner for jewellery shopping with…
