Love Confessions on Live Great TV.
Today, I am going to share a video! It’s titled “Love Confessions Episode 3” and it’s done for Live Great TV. It features my little family, together with the family of another mummy blogger, Maggie Quek. In it, my husband and me answers some questions about parenting, and there is a kids’ interview too and hear what Jerry has to say! In the year 2014, one of my goals for the blog was to start doing video content. Why, you might ask. Because truth is, I ALWAYS struggled with talking. I used to have stage fright and over the years, I very consciously try to overcome that. I am just…

5 Shell FuelSave Tips in a video clip.
I am a little hesitant to draft this post, because I am a little *shy* to show you the video that I created to share the Shell FuelSave Tips. #truestory Many of you would have read about my journey with Shell FuelSave Blogger Challenge 2014 as well as my progress over some weeks with regards to fuel-saving and this video is part of all that. This video is also part of the reason why I accepted the Shell FuelSave Blogger Challenge. Truth is, I…. am totally not comfortable in front of the video camera so I really wanted to push my own boundaries and force myself to at least try to create…

Jerry starts drinking – KAMPAI!
Like father, like son. Jerry starts drinking young (haha! I meant to dig at the husband!). Over the weekend, we had dinner out one day in a restaurant and this funny kid of mine suddenly decided that with every single sip of water, he needs to kampai! Its super hilarious and entertaining to watch and we heard giggles from the tables around us. The best part? He insisted on finishing the cup water (punctuated with a kampai at every sip) before we can leave. It was one of those days where i wasn’t in a hurry to go anywhere and i just indulged in him and let him have…

the lion roars!
This morning, while the husband is waking jerry up for school, the little kiddo refuses to get out of bed. and in a split second, he decided to be a lion and do a lion roar in an attempt to scare the husband away. hilarious. just where, do kids get these ideas into their heads? the quick-handed husband managed to capture it on video so i loaded it up on youtube. i think this was a “replay” version. hilarious. so, hear my little lion roar! (complete with facial expressions and all). funny not? I hope you like it! Till, i blog again.. Cheers, Cherie If you like what you…

jerome turns 8 months.
slightly over a week ago, jerome turned 8 months old. this little bundle of sunshine of mine cheers me up everyday. at 8 months, he has 8 fully grown teeth. i have no clue why my kids’ teeth sprouts so fast! I thought jerry’s progress was fast when he was a baby, but jerome’s progress is so much faster. he stands unassisted now for a couple of seconds before he plonks his fat butt down again. he walks like a champ assisted and can get around the house pretty fast when he crawls or walks about. he’s always wary about falling down so he clutches one hand onto somewhere all…

Thomas & Friends – Jerry knows his trains!
Ok. I’m guilty as a mum for exposing him to TOO MUCH thomas & friends. DVDs, VCDs, toys, books, bags, water bottle, cookery and the works, but it’s always about thomas thomas thomas (since he is the lead character). so a couple of days back, i bought a few more thomas and friends book for jerry, mainly for bedtime reading and i was really surprised when he pointing at the square train and went…. “Toby!”. I never heard him say “toby” before this even though i have ever read and pointed “toby” to him from another book. and i just had to quiz him! he really amazed me when he…

depressing times and the touching eulogy.
in a span of 1 week, i received 2 news of family members passing away. first, it was my grand father in law and it was difficult that the husband wasn’t around at all, the bub was being kept out cos he is too young. i managed to get through it all, gritting my teeth and kept telling myself it will be over soon while my mum was busy with hospital visits on my grandma. and on the day i got back to work and trying to recover from it all, my grandma left that very night. i remembered how i was lying in bed thankful to have survive it…
