Crime scene spotted.
Crime scene spotted in the middle of the mall, with victims lying on the floor and marking around their bodies. Coupled with uniformed crime scene investigators with note books and brushes and doing the full works of investigation – dusting bags, searching for identification etc. Created quite a stir in the mall.. Many people are taking pictures ad wondering what it is. Well. The mall banner says Get totally arrested. And some fashion police thingy. Sorry. Didn’t bother to read the banner so you go figure. Quite an interesting stunt idea, I must say. Though some practise and briefing must be done. Real police don’t stick tapes and re-stick them…

Weekend lunch.
Had a nice lunch on a late Sunday afternoon. Der and me woke up real early to rush for an appointment and only managed to grab something to eat at 3pm. Dined at my favourite tampopo again! Love it whenever he goes liang court to pick up his magazines. So, here’s our food! My black pig mini Shabu shabu. I could eat this all the time! Der’s ten-don. His usual fare. My huge salmon head. it’s almost bedtime
i’m starting to feel a little hungry but i am willing myself against picking up something to munch/eat. all in vanity sake. a day has passed and while i enjoyed my me-time, the day does feel a little empty without the boy around (to irritate me). i have decided to irritate him with more local fare on my blog for him to drool on. our crystal jade lunch on saturday afternoon. his 油鸡 & 叉烧饭 and my roast pork and carrot cake. missed my favourite egg tarts because they were out of stock. on a totally irrelevant note, been thinking about the job for a while and maybe it is…

BBQ time!
went bbq at jen’s place yesterday. haven’t been catching up with jen as much as i would love to. hate our jobs for being so demanding/time consuming. anyway, i was the only punctual one! jen’s specialty – jap rice ‘balls’ and my favourite type of corn! check out the giant prawns! they were sooooo huge! the boy peering over the food. and nope, all he did was sit around and waited for the food! i got too busy bbq-ing the night away and totally forgot to take more pictures of the rest of the food. urgh. another time then. packed the boy off to the airport to catch his flight…

drenched and messy.
who would have expected a pouring rain when the skies were bright and scorching hot when you step out? i headed out for a express pedicure and got stuck in the rain. waited for 30mins in the shelter and decided that the rain isn’t going to stop so i ran back in the rain. totally drenched and messy. while running, there was this boy running in front of me and i saw him slip and fall 4 times! he was to far away for me to help and i think in the rush to get back up, he kept slipping. each fall landed with a loud thud and boy, there…

the weekend.
flurry of activities as usual. MPC, rushed to tai seng for some errands, met kelvin and evelyn at timbre at substation in the evening for dinner and some chilling and ended the (late) night with rocher beancurd (yums). met belle to view her actual day photography pictures on sunday morning, rush to town to run some errands, squeezed in a movie (alice in the wonderland), and it was the F-FIL’s birthday! where has the week gone to?
this week has been a really busy week, with tight time lines and everything happening at the same time. things can only get madder in time to come. Seriously. among all the madness that i foresee coming, the question on my mind is.. do I have the time to manage everything at the same time? be it personal, work, or time for self? i think it’s gonna be a bad few months leading up to september. in between, i hope i am able to take time off work to run the errands that i need to run. am keeping my fingers crossed. and my god, it’s FRIDAY already and officially…
