the sat night fun at marina barrage.
it was my virgin trip there. an impromptu one though, because i would have lugged my SLR there if i had known about the trip. anyhow, the place was nothing to boot about. it just had a nice view of downtown, complete with the singapore flyer and “sea” view. the place was overly crowded to be enjoyable, people are talking loudly, kids running around, teenagers playing a fool with their friends.. and a few quiet couples trying to be romantic amidst the noise. for agnes, der and me… it’s just picture moments with my shoddy panasonic lumix. view full set of pictures here the night ended with shopping at mustafa.…

it’s a sunny day!
got a message this morning that derick arrived! am going to visit juliana at the hospital later today, and since we’ll be in the east, i managed to drag der to go blading! whee! i wished he could do it voluntarily more often. lazy bum. everyone, enjoy your sunday!

blue basil
i finally tried the restaurant after many many months of wanting to try out the place. or has it been a year? the parking was an arse and der & me did the stupidest thing. the car was originally parked at paragon, and because we were lazy to walk, we shifted the car and hopefully could park somewhere nearer so that we didn’t have to walk that far. we didn’t manage to find any available lots and eventually parked the car back in paragon because that was the only place where it was nearer and cheaper. -_-” good food always makes me a happy bird. the personable service was 2…

my saturday
what was planned to be a lazing turned out quite eventful. der’s mum called me up in the early afternoon and asked me to play mahjong! i feel so much like a gambling queen. 4D, toto, mahjong (every other weekend). thank goodness my luck has been quite good on the mahjong table. i shared my game with der’s father since i have to leave to pick der up at the airport and by the time i returned late at night for another game, i ended the game with total winnings was $150 bucks?! i got $65 after the split and paying for the dinner. feel so guilty winning all the…

it’s a lazy cosy morning.
pitter pattering of the rain. what was supposed to be a day journeying into malaysia is going to be changed into a day of shopping. oh, isn’t that a welcoming change? i really cannot stand the jam at the customs, into and out malaysia. i am gonna lie in bed and enjoy the peach of the morning for a while longer before i start the day.. have a great sunday!

a rumble jumble sorta post
because i had been busy trying to deal with work and manage life in general, i have been pushing a lot of the events that i had wanted to blog about to the next day/week/month.. and they never seemed to be materializing! anyhow, decided to post a jumbled up post of everything that i could think of now, and some pictures to show that i am still sane. 🙂 14 Oct 2008 finally brought der to greenwood fish market after telling him about it for ages. it’s not an easy task in doing that because i only wanted to go there on tuesday (oysters day), and because tuesdays are working…

a day with jen
i was stuck to her the whole of yesterday.. from noon till the wee hours of the night. we attended lucas’s first month in serangoon north (ade still looks as good as ever!) after a driving adventure and I chilled the afternoon away with my laptop plonked on jen’s bed while she busied herself with housework. haha. i never see her so domestic before. mop floor, do laundry. fold clothes, wipe the cupboards etc. then i was amused by something that she did – fold half, fold half, flip and tuck it in. she transformed her undies into cute little balls. sounds very silly to be amused, but then she…

the weekend
the weekend is officially over. it wasn’t when i was typing the lost entry about my weekend. retail therapy is good. i have been skipping around town over the last few weekends and each time, coming back with frivolous buys of things that i do not need. still, it makes me happy so i don’t really care. yeah. till i receive the credit card bills because i think i am in denial that i am signing my life away. *shudders at the thought of receiving the australia spending* met shuyu on saturday afternoon to do some catching up. haven’t seen her for like ages! was the last time at some…
