another weekend gone
the weekend will be over in another 15mins. i have enjoyed the 5 days of rest even though i had been working on and off, entertaining calls here and there. but, i guess it’s a good break that allows me to relax a bit more. now, i better clear up the bits of work so that i can have a smooth kick start tomorrow. there are tonnes to be done and there is already a long to-do list forming up in my brain as i type this entry. you see, like that how not to be stressed?! i am tired. *yawns*

bangkok, sept 21 – 23
the bangkok trip is gonna be my last work trip this year. moving onwards, i doubt i’ll get to travel at all and it is a tad sad thinking abt it. the trip to bangkok was a really last minute one, where i am activated to fly under 36 hours, and probably the only work trip where i had to source for tickets and book the accommodation by ourselves, without the help of the ceo’s secretary. we arrived on a sunday, thanks to yours truly, because i wanted to be there earlier.. which turned out to be a really good thing because that was the only day that was a…

restless
i think i slept too much yesterday that i spent the day battling a bad headache and feeling restless. had been relatively quiet here, because i had been busying myself with projectjen, a scrapbook that i created and sent to print.. as a farewell gift for my favourite colleague. maybe i was too much of a perfectionist, maybe i just wanted it to look good.. i spent nights and nights losing sleep over choosing the photos that would go into the book, cropping, editing, DI-ing the images and making sure it capture all the memories of hers. it wasn’t perfect because of the lack of time on my end, there…

lethargic
am feeling a little lethargic now. didn’t sleep well last night (the bed was terrible!) and the past 2 days have been busy. it’s my last business trip together with jen. am kinda glad for the trip even though it was really last minute. at least i can spend some quality girly time together with her before our lives/routines changes after she embarks on her new job. the business trip. i am busily learning as much as i can, troubleshooting whenever i can, and making sure all the grammar is correct and putting my proof reading skills to test. it’s kinda madness because 6 people sit in the same room…

retail therapy
a couple of days ago while i was researching for some online purchase experience, i got tempted and starting clicking on “add to cart”. well, after some hours staying on the same site, i eventually succumb to pressing the check out button. so here’s what i got.. pictures courtesy of oldnavy.com surprisingly, the damage is quite minimal. i paid less than 140usd including taxes and shipping. wah. this is addictive!

torn
what do you actually do when you are sitting in your room, staring at the clock and the computer and dithering on whether to go for a jog. my mind is going through the “i am so lazy” and “i am fat and need to exercise” fight. the latter is likely to win though, because after all, i have been running for the last 2 days and i really need to shed those fats. which brings me to the point that, i totally adore low waist bottoms. do you know why? because i don’t feel uncomfortable if i wear low waist bottoms with a bulging tummy. that fact struck me…
