i want the weekend to last longer!
why is it that the weekends always pass u by without noticing it? it’s sunday already?! spent the whole of yesterday afternoon in the office before the 2 hungry girls (agnes & me) stomped out of the office at 5pm to go grab some food. funny thing is we both ate heavy breakfast at 11am and we were hungry before 3pm was up! anyhow, she bought me to this korean restaurant somewhere in chinatown. woots, i almost ordered and gobbled everything down! my favourite was the refillable sides. kimchi! huimin and kelvin (or was it kevin) joined us for dinner and i kinda enjoyed myself over a funny dinner filled…

7pm. everyone else in the office is gone! from the finance (next door) to the HR (downstairs) and the SCM/QA/R&D departments (opposite), i am the last one left in the office and struggling to clear my work.. decided to leave eventually since it is really demoralizing to be working alone. well.. a very nice date but im totally feeling damn restless at work. i wish i didnt have to work can?! and… HAPPY BIRTHDAY to mengxin!! and it’s the start of the olympics today!! and google kindly reminded me about it this morning! another thing. I have a question.. which is correct? Tom Yum or Tom Yam?! apparantly a lot of restaurants are using both.. so i’m a little confused!

the off site meeting 2 weeks ago. i had been wanting to post all the pictures i have taken using jen’s cammie. i really liked that place a lot, the tranquility, the splashes of blue everywhere, the sea breezes. totally relaxed my mind. ok. definitely not relaxing when during the brainstorming session. but lunch and dinner was good. on the second day, 6 of us from the entire team went on a banana boat! i’m a little amazed that not many people sat on the banana boat before! jen’s quite funny.. she amused me with the following conversation.. c: i didnt bring any toiletries for bathing.. did you? j: no.…

That’s the birthday cake my colleagues bought for me i dictated my colleagues to buy for me. Haha. Well, i must have the honour to choose a delicious cake for myself right? Originally wanted the banana chocolate cake from cheese cake cafe at siglap, but because they open only at 4.30pm, i had to choose this chocolate addiction from nydc. I’m on leave today.. But guess what? I’m slowly making my way to work now. I figured that there’s simply too much to clear and if i stay home.. I’ll end up doing my work anyway. Might as well make it to the office where information is readily available and i would be more productive given that there’s no bed to tempt me. I must be mad. the virgin singapore flyer experience
well, the verdict is that i would not pay to go up the flyer again! being the hyperactive person that i am.. being trapped in a capsule like that for 40 mins is sheer torture. all it takes was 10 mins for all the excitement to die down, and start feeling claustrophobic. there weren’t enough seats for the 25 person in the capsule.. and standing around was very tiring without anything to do! anyway, i still took a lot of pictures since that’s the only form of entertain that i had. and this had to be my favourite picture taken on the flyer…

I hopped into the same cab twice within a week! What are the chances of that?!
