Mummy, cannot see!
A funny incident happened last night, and I wanted to add this to my virtual bank of memories about my kid, Jerry. I was prompting him to go to the toilet last night to pee.. and when he finally did, he went into the toilet and came out almost immediately, pants intact, shouting the following..
“Mummy, cannot see!”
Errr, okayyy.. and I turned away. The next thing I know, he pulled down his pants outside the toilet and went back in to pee.
That’s when it struck me. He meant “cannot see” as in the toilet is too dark and he cannot see anything inside. I kept thinking that he meant that I cannot peep at him! Totally silly!
I tried to get Jerry to pose a picture so that I can blog about it and let the husband who is on reservist share this moment.. and then, guess what? This kid insisted on having his picture taken too! And he went up to the doorway and strike me a pose. And burst into tears when he realises that I am not whipping out my phone to take a picture of him. Awwwww…..
Too cute. I so, so, so love my boys. I have always wanted a girl, but you know what? I think boys can be a lot of fun too. Love it when they give me big squishy hugs. I love it when they play together. I love it when they are having fun together or chasing each other down in the house. So much fun!
Do you get such “Duh” moments too?
P.s. I am still solo parenting this week, and the blog is a little too silent for my liking. But there is a time for everything. Right now, I am clocking in all those precious moments with my kids and I have seen so much more in the past weeks that I have spent with them together. It sure is tiring, but I gotta do it anyhow and doing it positively makes it a much better experience. 🙂
Meanwhile, do check on those blog archives on Jerry or on Jerome. Am pretty sure there’ll be some gems.Â

I have always wanted a girl too, and am still hoping for one if I should try for #2. but somehow, yes.. I realize I actually wouldn’t mind if it’s a boy again. cos they are their own kind of fun. 😀
