Art jamming with Pumpkin Patch on Mother’s Day weekend
Ok. Month-old news (but still news!!). I tried my hands at art jamming with the husband during the Mother’s Day weekend. Actually.. it was meant to be an art jamming session for Jerry the kiddo, but life sometimes, doesn’t quite go the way you plan it. When we arrived in vivocity.. guess what the kid is doing? He totally concussed, way before noon! Just one of those days! So what is supposed to be a parent-kid art jamming session, became a husband-wife art jamming session instead. Or rather, i sent the husband to paint me a painting while I just stood around and chill. Heh. Here’s the husband hard at…

Cold Storage Kids Run 2014, Gardens by the Bay
We went for the Cold Storage Kids Run this year again! You can read about our last year’s experience but this year was really exciting because it was held at The Meadow, Gardens By the Bay! I signed both the husband and myself up with the kids, and we were really looking forward to all the fun. The husband went for the Singapura Finance Blue Sky Run with Jerry and I went for the S-26 Family Stroller Fun Run. I can’t wait till next year where we can all be in the same race! I didn’t manage to check out much of the activities at the event because we were…

Win with Shell. Just Pump, Spot and Win!
The husband and I are still in a midst of a Shell FuelSave Challenge and I must say, it’s been rather challenging thus far. Partly because the husband travels to M’sia for work every day (yup, you heard me right) and he spends an average of at least 2 hours in traffic jams daily. The start, stop, start, stop car behaviour in traffic jams just kills our chance of being fuel efficient! Nonetheless, we are still trying really hard and just being really conscious with our driving bearing in mind the Shell FuelSave Tips! Here’s a snapshot for our log card thus far. It probably pales against most people’s results, but we…

Maroyaka Kale by Yakult Health Foods
*Sponsored Post* I know many of us grew up with Yakult, the probiotic dairy product that helps balance your digestive system, but have you heard of Yakult Health Foods? About one and a half month ago, Yakult Health Foods was launched in Singapore with a wide range of products and I was invited to witness the momentous event. I half wished I had retained all the Japanese language that I learned when I was much younger because the President & CEO of Yakult Health Foods was present and he delivered his speech in Japanese. The event started with a stellar performance of Japanese drum before the unveiling of the range…

The Shell FuelSave Blogger Challenge 2014.
I have been invited to partake in the Shell FuelSave Blogger Challenge and over the Mother’s Day weekend, I spent a morning learning about Shell FuelSave and fuel efficiency. Having gotten my driver’s license some thirteen years ago, I have been driving quite a bit even though I don’t own a car to my name (apparently, I don’t need to!) and can i say…. the fuel matters! I know some of you regular, everyday drivers might already know this, but I still want to/need to say this because… I know a lot of drivers who doesn’t bother about the car, the fuel efficiency and all. The difference type of fuel does really make…

Getting pampered by Rapellez beauty spa!
*Alert* Giveaway by Rapellez at end of sponsored post! Some weeks back, i plucked up my courage and went for a facial treatment at Rapellez beauty spa. Just to share, i absolutely, hate having someone touch my face and I don’t have the habit of going for facials. When i was much younger, I went once with my aunt and I ended up itching like mad and having red bumps all over my face. It was a sheer torture and obviously bad experience enough to steer clear of it all for many, many years. Well, I’m glad to say Rapellez changed my perception and I can’t wait for the next treatment! Needless…

An afternoon with Dr. Thomas Armstrong at SmartKids Asia 2014.
Some weeks back, I was privileged to have spend an afternoon with Dr. Thomas Armstrong on understanding the topic – Awakening the Genius in Every Child. I first attended a workshop on the topic at SmartKids Asia 2014, which is held in Singapore Expo and subsequently, we had an informal high tea session with media friends and fellow bloggers at Table Manners (one of my favouite restaurants!), Changi Point on the same day. I was so glad that i dragged the husband along with me that day, because it had been a really insightful afternoon as parents with 2 young toddlers. Much was covered during the workshop session like the…

Tommee Tippee Electric Breast Pump Review
My breast pump is my best friend (read about my breastfeeding journey). I huddle with it the first thing in the morning when i wake up everyday, travels with me all the time, and use it at night before i sleep. Surely that can be considered my #bff? With Jerome turning 16 months in a couple of days, i sometimes do wonder when i’ll end my breastfeeding journey. I’ll probably wouldn’t have another kid (it is already too stressful to handle 3 boys now – including the husband) so till i get the courage… (and when it comes, it comes!) So, today i am going to review another breast pump that…
