what would be your reaction when your boyfriend doesnt know it’s you talking to him on the line?

wei always laments that i dont talk as sweetly to him as compared to my friends. he says im always sweet to other people, but talk so loudly (read: uncouth)to him.
yesterday morning, i decided i needed a dose of my sweetie’s voice and i call him…
c: hi, morning! can i speak to ian please?
w: hi, ian speaking!
c: oh, how are you?
w: WHO are you?
c: you dont know who i am?
w: WHO ARE YOU?
c: (turns uncouth) wah lao eh! HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW WHO I AM?
w: oh, call you back. cannot talk.
see? this is how he treats me. so nice. can talk to stranger, no time to talk to me. i.am.so.mad.
HOW TO BE SWEET WHEN HE CANNOT EVEN RECOGNISE MY VOICE?!?!?!?!
anyway, i sent him a sms abt my displeasure..
c: wah lao eh! sad leh! i cannot recognise my voice! how can u do that?!?!
w: how i know? u gek your voice like ah gua like that!
c: what ah gua! *fuming*

and so, i decided to call him stranger from now onwards. he is not my boyfriend. stranger is he. hurmph!

I love seeking out good food and travelling, is trigger-happy, love new gadgets, love exploring new places and strives to live life to the fullest. I aspire to travel the world as much as I can, to soak in the different sights across the various continents and visit all the Disneylands in the world (almost there!). jon laments about that too. saying that i’m talk differently to him as compared to my friends. i think we are all like that lah. it’s just the nature of a comfortable relationship….
my friend was just telling me the other day at his son’s birthday party, that when the sliding door of his cupboard fell on his toe (and broke his toenail), the first thing his wife said was “so when are you going to change that door? tell you so many times liao.”. then he was telling jon, “if she is my gf, she’ll probably ask me how i am first.”

When i read this – i just had to smile and laugh!!! Its true mind – when people are confortable with their partner they get abit “lazy” – ie bodily functions, tone of language and voice.. but hey – just remember to not do it too often!!!
as for not recognising your voice – are you sure you didnt over do it?!?!? or have you ever done that voice to him b4? cos if not – then how will he recognise?!?!? Anyways… blokes generally are not that observant – so dont fret.. they’re just blokes…

I do have to agree with ur bf … u do sound unfriendly to the people u already known …as for the ah gua part… no lah… he just Exaggerating as for high maintaince… yes …u seem do look like one… imaging having many sets of bikini,….maybe clothes on u seems to wear out fast… so what r u made of?

hahha. i am amused by the other FAQs about asthama attack and all. you have to wait till the staff arrange for you to drink your water/take medication. by then, a life might have been lost!
take your medication before you enter the station.. how unreal is that? how would i know i’ll have an asthma/heart heart in the train?
